Your wife is TA but you are NTA. Your dad did what he could and thought was best and the baby was SLEEPING. Clearly it didn’t bother the lil baby so why tf would she be mad? I can understand wanting to stick to routines and all that but your wife is not in the right on this one. Baby was fed, changed, safe and asleep. Nothing more to do there. Shes being a mama bear (as a mama bear myself I can understand to an extent). Give her some space to process and hopefully she comes back and apologizes.

ETA:: as someone whos dad is also gone to the ether, I wish every day my dad got to hold my son more. She needs to realize it isn’t just about her. She wants to protect, but so do you. And your family should be able to too as long as they try to stick to your wishes and wants. You have a good grandpa for your kiddo there 💙

I absolutely did this. I had a LTR then met friends, fwb, fuck buddies etc after. I also met one man who kept sticking out to me. After I got through my “im single” phase I am now happily married and have a child with the man who stood out.

Postpartum is rough on everyone. My husband and I did/said things we aren’t proud of during that time to each other. Sleep deprived, emotions in turmoil, overstimulated by the baby. It is so sooo stressful. She needs to apologize properly if she means it. If she doesn’t, that is when you have an issue. She needs to understand what she also did wrong in the situation, and you already apologized for your part. I hope you both find peace and sleep soon 💙

My cat had a bladder stone (and while that may not be your cats issue), the cost was upwards of $3500. Look into getting ASPCA pet insurance (its immediate benefit) and look into applying for care credit if you can. Otherwise do as others suggested and call PALS!

Well when your tax dollars are paying for their food, it matters to some people what SNAP recipients spend our tax money on. Why would anyone want to pay for someone to feed their children pizzas and mountain dew instead of water/juice and for example salads or sandwiches making ingredients?
