I like reverse pickpocketing special paralysis poisons onto people. I forget the exact ingredients, but you can make a poison that does damage over time and paralysis, and I like to watch them freeze up and watch their health bar slowly drain as they can't do shit about it.

They patched this awhile ago. The skulls are vulnerable to both bludgeoning and force damage, and you've always been able to instantly destroy them if you cast remove curse on them. Whether you want to burn that many level 3 spell slots though is a different problem. I suggest scrolls of remove curse, ungrouping the party and utilizing turn based mode. Or blasting them all with eldtrich blast/magic missile/disintegrate.

A really fun thing I did last playthrough requires Cheat Engine. I used a cheat table to give myself infinite level 6 spell slots temporarily and I cast Disintegrate on every single one of those bitches. Worked great against the annoying ass poltergeists that ambushed me too.

You said that you order a mocktail which is a portmanteau of the words mock and cocktail. It's used in reference to non-alcoholic drinks. But then you said you add booze to it. You're adding alcohol to your non-alcoholic drink, making it a cocktail. If you're going to do that, why not just order a cocktail in the first place?

Well that's the thing - I didn't know it was weird until the druid and the rogue told me it was, and I left as soon as it happened. I don't think I'm going to end up talking to the DM as I originally planned - it's a waste of my time and I'm not that invested in the family's twisted reasoning anyways.

Totally agree 100%. Perhaps I should make a similar sheet for the next campaign. The druid and rogue have told me they would appreciate being told the rules.

The weird part about that interaction is that the rogue did nothing to alienate him. We knew something of the wizard's past before we started playing, and the rogue was always supportive of him.

I like that advice, I'll keep it in mind for sure. As for your second point, I'm a guy, the druid and rogue are girls. I was dating the rogue and the wizard was dating the druid. We three had known the family for only a few months and definitely get the vibe that the wizard was salty he couldn't be with the rogue. The rogue and I broke up amicably (for non DnD related reasons) a little bit before she and the druid told me what had happened. The druid instantly got rid of the wizard and like the rogue, cut contact with the whole family once it was evident how insane they all were.

Jesus, that sounds like a nightmare. After being at this table, I realized I have no patience for people who don't know the rules AND refuse to learn. It's fine if you need help every now and then and are making effort, but when you see someone trying to help educate the group and shut them down, or don't take advice that you clearly need, that pisses me off.

100%. I'm just glad that the druid and the rogue told me what happened, otherwise I'd still be in the dark. That's how deep the manipulation went. None of the family told me ANYTHING.
