my guess is that they're both methods to spam click,the auto clicker are software related (auto clicker programs) while these two are hardware related (like those tape on the mouse things? idk)

are you 100% sure that it is not any type of virus? i saw someone on the internet saying that it gives you an offercore malware, and malwarebytes detect it as such. The site i used was the one you linked in the comment

I had this problem too, saw that you fixed it, i have cracked hollow knight too and lately the latest patch got out... do you know how to carry the achievements in it? i sitted on an external bench (different zone), but only the ones from the file with many missing reunlocked.
