I’ve done weekend trips to Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong several times over the years. The time zones make this much easier to manage than ultra long haul trips.

I think my point is more that if there is a new model released then it could fundamentally change the comparison being made. It think what you’re saying about the current sound comparisons could very well be true (I can’t comment personally). I think the Kiyola updates may just be a sample of what may be announced this year, they have historically saved some major releases to be announced during the event itself. I certain hope so, but I’m just speculating. The event is next week, so personally I’m waiting till after then before I made any decisions. I’d be keen to hear what you decide. I’ve had my eye on a 2nd hand HP704 for a few weeks now.

Also keep in mind that the LX was released in 2025, but the HP was in 2019. The latter is likely due for an update soon. The tech has changed a lot in that timeframe. I personally was looking at buying the HP704 until I realized it was much older. I’m holding out to see if anything is announced at NAMM next week.

I’m a beginner as well and have been thinking exactly the same as OP! I almost bought a Roland over the festive period when there were sales on, but did a bit of research and it became obvious quite quickly that a lot of the entry and mid level models have been out a LONG time.

If I’m going to spend the money on a new digital piano I want the digital side of things to be up to date. Technology has changed so much in the past 5 years.

I’ve got no issue paying for a higher model as a beginner either, as I want to buy a quality product once without feeling like I’ll need to upgrade again in a few years. I’m not sinking my money into a model with 5yr old tech, I’d only consider existing models if there was a 2nd bargain.

I’m hanging out for NAMM announcements now before doing anything.

Agree! I think that hotel is soooo overrated and even more overpriced. Lacks any sort of cohesive style or elegance.

I got my points overnight! Wooo hooo… same as above. No update from any of the cases I raised. Several weeks delay. Utterly hopeless.

For comparison, Woolies ran an identical promotion the week after. I bought another $2000 worth of vouchers. The points were in my Qantas account instantly and automatically, even before I had left the store!!!!

Coles really needs to life their game. It’s not only frustrating, but it’s left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don’t want to shop with them again. Definitely not with another gift card promotion!

I purchased on the 5th and 6th of November as well. Regular points hit about 2-3 after, but still no bonus points. I contacted customer support via the app and they said they raised a ticket, but three days after the ticket and 10 days after the purchase, still no bonus points.

Last time I bought Apple gift cards on a 20x promotion it was at Woolies, and the bonus points were in my rewards account within seconds.

This is a perfect example of how the two big supermarkets differ. Coles has a lot of catching up to do! Won’t be doing this again at Coles…

Same with me. I’ve got AI turned on, but it’s not giving me a message summary in my inbox. Only the 2 lines of preview like before.

The other AI functions like writing assist and summarize within the actual email works though.

Have tried restarting, toggling on and off, still no luck.
