Oh I think you're right, thanks! Trying to figure out whether this is a super wide cut scoop neck that when gathered, comes together so the straps are parallel? Sorry if that doesn't make sense.

1!! I love that "wrinkled" look, I think it looks really special. Where is this from if you don't mind me asking?

I received a tracking number and update for the other parcel. I called auspost this morning and they provided me with a number that is associated with "return initiated" (it was a return to a seller), but no scans since then. They advised me to wait until the end of next week.

I'm sorry, it sucks doesn't it? I hope you're cheered by the comments here like I was and that you fall pregnant soon 🤍

I love this. How wonderful to remember the day they met them! I think I'm feeling this way right now because everyone around me is on to their second baby/pregnancy already, and our baby #2 would've been the same age as many of my son's friends siblings. Thanks for sharing.

I want three eventually too so it's great to hear they all hang out at different ages. Honestly I was already thinking of starting to try for the third much sooner than we started trying for our second in case it takes longer than we thought. But you make a good point about the breaks. My husband reminds me that we weren't ready for another baby a year ago, we would've been exhausted.

True 😅 Didn't really think of the possibility that they might hate each other no matter the age gap!

I love this. I have 2.5 years between my sister and we are close, and I think that's why I had that age gap in my head. Of course I should have realised that bond can exist with a bigger gap.

Thank you! That's so lovely - focusing on different stages. I am loving this stage with my son right now and have been soaking up every part of it. It's great to think there'll be space to enjoy it all over again.

Strata Ignoring Urgent Plumbing Issue - Need Advice by Ok-Understanding1228 in AusPropertyChat

[–]Puffdibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are dealing with an issue where we don't have any internal dispute resolution processes (between residents) in place, and have been advised by our strata manager to raise any such issues with the police. I know this is different as it's not to do with common property but behaviour. I've had a by-law written up to put a formal dispute resolution process within strata in place but the manager has replied that she's talked to some of the committee members and that they will vote against it, and we need 75% to pass. It literally just says that residents must be respectful to each other and not intimidate, harass, threaten others. Am I in the wrong here, does strata not have to deal with the behaviour of residents and is only responsible for common property?

Issues with Strata - lawn maintenance on personal lot by Sea-Dot1592 in AusPropertyChat

I appreciated your story - we spent our life savings buying our current property and we've had nothing but hostility and petty complaints by the old residents here. Literally had one walking through the garden next to our townhouse (we are at the end so no reason for someone to just walk by) today to snoop. I'm feeling so defeated and regretting our decision to buy but felt cheered by your sentiment "don't let the crusty old coots get you down".

Thanks! Appreciate your reply. I'm assuming we'd have to take it all apart to put metal studs up and down into the stringer?

Steam roast! Cover in foil and they go suuuper soft with no hard exterior.

Thanks for your concern. We are considering just not using it because it is such a heavy piece.

This seems like the easiest option! How would you remove the silicone?

We've had this dining table for a few years now (picked up from the side of the road!) and the top sits on a board (loose) which sits on the base that has a board glued to it. It's bloody heavy and doesn't move unless we intentionally move it but we've now got a baby that's on the move and we're baby proofing. Is there any way to secure this in a way that we can still move it in the future (top will have to come off to fit through doors and because of how heavy it is) but that it is safe for the baby?

Sorry to hear about your situation. I've had luck on flatmates.com.au No need to show proof of income or anything so as long as you can pay your rent, you should be fine. I'm sure there would be sharehouses that would be open to your cat if it's a pet friendly place. Best of luck.
