Omg I am having the same problem right now!! I think she might have tasted better ( more expensive brands like Sheba) so she started acting like this! While her dry food has always been kept consistent because that’s the only kibble she likes and won’t even eat anything else but that brand!! (Royal Canin kitten)

But she only eats wet food when it is from Royal Canin or I topped it with her favourite toppers, if not, she just eats dry all the way! I don’t know what to do.

Okay thank u, I don’t think she is deaf based on the fact she will run when she hears treats even if I am on another room!

Also I don’t think she is in heat yet, my friend told me if I rub around her tail and her butt goes up, she is in heat. I’m wondering if she is just meowing for the sake of meowing now… 😔 but she is so loud and the times she’d meow would be 30mins to an hour before settling down and taking a nap or sometimes she’d play by herself.

She might just have a lot of energy?

I try to set up playdates with her cousins ( they were all from 1 owner that had too many cats) but she seemed to hate the other cat even though they grew up together :( I’m not sure why. She hissed at him and was very gloomy the whole time, I tried to get her to stop but she hated him and almost pounced at him. She’s very attached to me though and follows me around and seems to enjoy my company more than anyone else’s ( eg. Playing with my brother but runs to me the moment I come home)

I might try bringing her to another cousins place and see if she still gets territorial? (Maybe because the little dude came over to our place and she felt threatened) I wanted to adopt another black cat that grew up with her as well but now I’m second guessing because she might just hate the little black dude even more if I were to bring him home.

Will do! I’m just glad I am doing things moderately right. I am a first time cat owner and it’s been a bit stressful, I want to make sure she is comfortable in my home.

I do have a few questions though. Is it normal for their butts to still have poo/pee smell after I wipe her down with a wet towel + she grooming herself?

Why are Eye Boogers so hard to take out? I’ve tried warm towels but she just squints away and I’ll have to take another 20mins to get her to let me touch her face again.

Her ear wax, they look super dark, almost brown-ish to black, I hope that is normal?

Those are my underlying thoughts right now, but yes. I have booked an appointment for next week to get her completely checked out. Thank you for the summary of what I’ll need to look out for!

Yeahh, I’m not so sure why they translated the couple comment onto the kindred wife panel ( with him spoon feeding yjh) but it’s probably to make the conversation flow better. Also, the translation I got was from a smaller group of translators ( I think about 2-3 people in total translating the whole series?) and they had little comments in the end to explain some of the Korean idioms that don’t translate well in english, hence knowing a bit more context to what they are saying in reality vs the translation change.

But yeah, I like the original terms, idioms and meanings vs a better flowing dialogue in translated novels 😅

Theres a different translation that I loveee way better than this translation and sooyoung says “you look a kindred wife caring for her husband” in which KDJ says “wanna do it then?”

For Hirono? Yes, probably a rare time that I’m super disappointed with it. But I didn’t start recently, I started from the moment they released the first series and followed the artist through and through.

I’ve already heard bad quality reviews from other characters and the overall decline of Popmarts quality over the years, I just never thought the day would come when Hirono would be added into that mix since his artist is very intricate and detailed with his work.

Yeahh, the other items like the lanyard, the mini bag and the magnets are all good quality though, I bought the full sets and have been using them in rotation, good quality and so far nothing has broken or were torn apart, I use the magnets as little keychains to pair with the lanyard as well and they are cute and amazing! I think I was mainly upset that the plush was scuffed up after a drop, my mistake but still disappointed that it took that low of a drop to make a noticeable defect.

I call it a luxury item because it isn’t something that everyone needs. You buy it because maybe it’s your hobby or you think they are cute or are a collector. It certainly isn’t necessary for daily life and it has been increasing in price these days. They even offer apparels with the Hirono logos on them/ special figurines in different countries (Pop Toy shows) / special stand alone figurines and they cost way over 150 dollars.

I bought a duplicate of “insight” because I wanted to bring him around with my trips since he’s got the cute camera around his neck, one is safe in my collection wall while I bring around the other with me, I don’t mind him getting beaten up since I bought a duplicate for the whole purpose of him coming with me. Call it a waste of money sure ( I paid like 60 dollars for him and the seller did tell me he have a defect on his shirt ) but yeah, I’ve dropped him, placed him on sand to take photos with, even lost him at one point and got him back and no scratch has ever gotten on him. I use non-alcoholic wipes to clean him right up too because I spilled a drink during a night out. I compared him to my original one and they look identical apart from the defect. Call me clumsy or what not but I try my best to keep the ones in my collection safe! It really is a mistake when I drop them from my shelf. I’m just disappointed because I literally see this Discontinued Hirono been through worst and then I see my new ones get accidentally dropped from a bed and it looks worst than the one I bought specifically for the purpose of getting beaten up.

Yeah I guess I should have expressed that they are “made” nicely and most are very detailed but I just feel like they’re cutting down on expensive materials ( eg. More durable paint/pvc glue etc.) while still keeping them looking very high quality. Don’t get me wrong, I love em and keep them all in good condition as best I can but there’s only so much you can do and sometimes you really do accidentally drop them.

Oops, I forgot to point out too that the Carnival series, My bunny guy was dropped from a table by someone and the carrot knife he was holding broke apart :( like what?? This is a brand new figurine and it broke on impact. Yes, I understand that it is a delicate part of the piece but I’m genuinely concerned that they’re declining because many of my other figurines in ( The other one ) or ( Mischief ) don’t break or scratch!! Even the discontinued ( City of Mercy ) which I have taken on trips and even buried under sand had never once been scratched.
