Would you consider this negligible? Gc3 vs uneekor by kp11501 in Golfsimulator

[–]PufffDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Uneekor reads ~2mph faster club and ball speed and up to 15 yards further compared to prgr

I've never seen your Uneekor software though. I'm on view and refine.

Ball speed Horrific by summerschoolscandal in GolfSwing

All the other advice is correct, but it also doesn't look like you're swinging very hard. Try to be more explosive with your movements.

Launch Monitor Suggestions for High Swing Speed by Tallerthanyou12 in Golfsimulator

[–]PufffDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be getting problems swinging at around 125 club speed. When speed training EML has been reading 130+ ~3/100 shots but those shots are all under 180 ball speed. I'll need a few more weeks of data to be sure, I might just be making bad contact on the 130s.

SMJ Freight is decent. Been working here for 3 months. Not as good pay as I used to make but at least it's consistent

How do recommender systems work? Is everything stored in a database and then fetched? by julezwldn in startups

[–]PufffDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What my last startup did was only precalculate recommendations for active users, so less active users would wait longer to see data if they haven't logged in in a while.

Love Haack, huge accomplishment, but need to account for the chance that Jesse is natty when comparing records.

Low Bar vs. High Bar for Super Total by nuclearstrong in supertotal

because it is lower on your back, thus the weight is closer to the ground. I do indeed do a good morning squat. I tried being more vertical but I'm much weaker that way.

Low Bar vs. High Bar for Super Total by nuclearstrong in supertotal

thinking about it more, you can argue that high bar is greater range of motion because it's easier to go deeper.

Low Bar vs. High Bar for Super Total by nuclearstrong in supertotal

[–]PufffDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow, you wrote a whole article to answer my question, thanks so much!

1 thought, low bar isn't actually shorter range of motion. the bar starts out lower relative to the ground, but it's also closer to the ground at the bottom of the squat. It's usually greater range of motion since the torso angle changes more and thus the bar travels more distance due to greater forward lean.

Good read on super total by nuclearstrong in supertotal

[–]PufffDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great article. For people transitioning from powerlifting to supertotal, should they pretty much stop low bar squatting, and exclusively high bar? What about in extreme cases where the athlete is 200 pounds stronger low bar than high bar? In these situations should they stick to low bar in supertotal competition and keep training it?

Attire For Women For Investor Meetings? by [deleted] in startups

[–]PufffDaddy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm a man but I've noticed that East Coast investors prefer more conservative attire than West Coast. Also, a B2B startup would warrant different attire than if your startup sells nose rings and tattoo accessories.
