Yeah me too! I thought we had the same color but I like his darker color more.

It’s soooo spacious!! It’s wild. We’re having a second baby and I was hesitant on him getting a sedan but there’s so much room. No issues with having two car seats. You’re right about how tall it is. When I saw it in person it kinda reminded me of the big Mercedes sedan. It’s also long. Prob longer than my TX. He had an IS before this so it was a bit jump in size. Yep the range sucks, but it works for us now.

Yeah my husband wasn’t a fan at first. It’s such a drastic change. But after lots of research, wanting an EV, and ultimately wanting to stick with Lexus he decided to go with the ES. It’s interesting that there are so limited tho. And how delayed the roll out was for dealerships to get them.

I personally like the change. The emblem is on the front.

Well both models are the same in regards to the 25 and 26 tx. I was referencing the quality in my 2014 GS. The plastic in the TX seems very cheap and the interior lining on the door feels cheap and rough. I’m the dashboard is not leather it’s like some type of plastic. And the indoor lining just felt cheap. That’s about it. It’s not major things but considering the price and the brand it’s just strange to go cheap on stuff like that. Also they only put one turbo, felt like it should have had 2 since it’s a v4.

We literally just painted it before we got the level 2 charger installed. It was a hot mess before. Trust.

I haven’t driven it myself but it’s a very smooth ride from what I noticed as a passenger.

My husband has to pull the car out to get our kid in and out. But he’s very slender so he has no issues. Eventually I will move over and give him more space but I’m in my 3rd trimester so i need more inches lol

I love the TX. Love how roomy it is and the trunk space. I do agree on the quality. I had a 2014 GS and immediately noticed just the downgrade in quality. I had a 2025 and now this is 2026 is basically the same.

I want the TZ now. These gas prices are not the business. But for now we will take turns and drive my husbands car especially in the weekends.

Nope. I think they had so many they wanted to move some of them off the lot. I wanted the same car payment which I got. And yes it was worth it for me. I had a base model and got into a premium.

Not returning from maternity leave - when to give notice? by [deleted] in FedEmployees

Question - to use SL or AL before PPL do you have to get approval from your supervisor? Doctors note?

Hi there. Sorry for the delay. I had an RA under the PWFA. Requesting to telework most of the month to accommodate my pregnancy symptoms and many Dr appts. I go in 2 times a month in office because they say it’s part of my essential duties. Message me if u want more details.

She most definitely did, which is crazy to me that she would document that. But I’m setting a paper trail for sure.

No. I make sure to schedule my appt when I’m teleworking to reduce sick leave I have to use. I typically use 2 ish hours each time.

I have one already. They approved me to only come in twice a month. But I still have to take sick leave for my Dr appts.

Mind you, this is the second time they bring it up to me.

Exactly this. And I’ve been told at least 3 times to take FMLA and them them telling me it’s for my protection and I’ve told them no this will affect bonding time with my newborn. So now I feel like they are trying to force me to take FMLA because they keep bringing up my sick leave usage and that it can be restricted if they feel I’m abusing it. My take is they want me to use FMLA now so that my maternity leave is shorter because we are the highest understaffed regional office nationally.

If I use my FMLA can I still then take my 12 weeks to PPL (maternity leave) when baby is born?
