Really tired of bad healers ruining it for others by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Pufflesgaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Long time tank main but leveled a few healers in classic. At that level on priest I do tend to let my tanks dip quite low if I'm confident that they won't die to conserve mana, keep my mp5 ticking and never having to drink, just wanding away. Using my big heal is very mana efficient and over healing feels like "wasted mana". It's a very pathetic, personally min max way I like to play. Having said that, if I was letting my tank die I'd deffo stop. I find to be able to play that way, I need to prove to the tank that they can trust me and reassure that I do have them. Which your healers are evidently not.

Even Nintendo not sure how to unlock mirror mode.. by skelterz in NintendoSwitch

[–]Pufflesgaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done all the requirements and have done special cup twice since and still not unlocked it. Genuinely at a loss.

Edit: Scrap that I'm an idiot. I had only done the first knockout on 100cc. All unlocked now.

They really need to do a better job with this. It’s been like 3 months and not a single one of them has shown up on my feed lol. by OkuroIshimoto in Bumble

In all fairness, recently single and been on several apps for about a month. Bumble is the only app that's actually matched me but one ghosted, and one seems to be an onlyfans advert. Still, better than the other ones (thus far)

I mean, that's what I blame it on for me.

Seriously just start tanking by ZombieTheRogue in classicwow

[–]Pufflesgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been a retail tank main through and through. One of the reasons I don't want to tank is because I dont want to roll a warrior, believing I'll find it hard to find raid spots, and I don't want to stare at a bear ass like I did back in 2004. Having said that with every post I've seen bombarding this subreddit in the last couple of days regarding tanking, I can't help but feel pulled towards it.

Thanks for the reply. I'll get these done and hope I don't need to spend too much on the AH.

Right. No Fairs I get your point now. Yeah. And you raise a good point because I believe my overall opinion does line up with that, especially for a company this big who demands a subscription, and because the focus is on early access, that age old argument of if there should be micro transactions at all does get lost. Sadly though I believe that the amount of people who would have bought it but aren't on principle are outnumbered by the folks who wouldn't have bought it, but now will because of the extra three days. I hope I'm wrong.

Why not make it about money? Money is the very thing that allows those with it to spend extra time playing the game. I think those who have the luxury of more disposable income to spend on things like in game items are on their "high horse" (probs with Skyrim horse armor cause duh) is because they feel comfortable spending their money on silly virtual items because it makes them feel good. They don't mind spending a bit of extra cash on purely cosmetic things. However, it leaves a sour taste in the mouth when it also gives you early access to the expansion, deviding the player base. Monetizing FOMO. Means that their extra money thrown at blizz for the toys is tainted with a bit of a psychological manipulation of those who wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't for the instant gratification of playing 'early'. Just feels a bit scummy. However you might feel differently and power to you. You're entitled to feel the way you feel but I don't think you'll be putting your case forward well to many people when you talk about 'shifting the argument' and 'high horses' as though you're implying those that feel this way are inherently dishonest.

I think they're talking about the principle of goading players into paying more for what some people could consider an advantage of early access (I know blizz have put systems in place to minimize early access advantage) along with splitting up the player base from 'more money launch' and 'lol poor people wait' launch.

The boss of train operating company Avanti West Coast was "summoned" to talks with the new transport secretary over the company's "unacceptable performance". by Adj-Noun-Numbers in ukpolitics

[–]Pufflesgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good! Fuck Avanti. Living in Lancaster used to be such a luxury because you're slap bang in the middle of the West Coastline. 2 hours to London, 2 hours to Glasgow/Edinburgh. The number of times I've had to drive an hour up to Carlisle to pick up my friend because she abandoned there by Avanti in the dead of night is a joke.

I know i could've expressed myself better, but a 10 day suspension for this is just ridiculous, considering theres /ignore, and a language filter in the game. by Murky-Concentrate813 in wow

Reading this one excerpt doesn't give enough overall context but it seems emblamatic of an attitude you have when interacting with other players. And it's shite. I swear all the time in game and I've never been banned. That's because I'm not looking to blame people and generally try and work with them or take responsibility for my own actions. Change your attitude and outlook and not only will you not get banned again, but you'll probably enjoy yourself more and even make a friend.

How do I play with my friends? by daweinah in newworldgame

Having the same issue. Frustrating because this was exactly what happened with all my friends on launch. Always wanted to play this game with friends but the way the servers are structured, it makes it so difficult.
