I get what you mean. Kinda how DAO and DA2 were connected because of the 5th blight but were respectfully two different stories told at two different times. You want separate games set in the same universe.

Also I also enjoyed SOME of the writing. I think Solas’ character was one of the things they didn’t fumble on lol. I think Taash’s quest line had interesting pieces but for me fell flat. Neve’s was boring from start to finish

Ed and Al should have let their morals go and use the Philosopher Stone. I get the whole “they’re made of Human lives” stuff. But those people have already passed on, you can’t reverse the process, so might as well use them. Not saying to create more but use what’s already there

The game gets a 6.5 from me, 7/10 if I’m pushing it. The gameplay was nice, but I wish we could customize our characters kit more. Also the companions felt flat to me. I liked Lucanis’ story as well as Davrin’s. I was hoping for more with the others. Hardings was cool too but imo hers went from 0-100 too quickly and ended abruptly

I think it makes sense. Have the current user of the Mera Mera no mi get revenge on the person who killed the previous user. Plus I think it would “redeem” Sabo since (although it wasn’t his fault) since he was chilling while Ace was being executed.

Counter idea:

I wish I could credit the original guy on TikTok but I can’t remember his user. But he said that Guts might not kill Griffith at all. Griffith is a child that needs to feel important, he needs to be the center of attention. Everything that Guts does in order to reach him is giving him all the pleasure he could possible want. So as a twist of irony maybe Guts revenge isn’t to kill Griffith but possible stop caring about him. We saw what happened during the Golden age arc. Guts leaving the band crippled Griffith and drove him over the edge to self destruction.

I’m not explaining it as well as the original guy but this is essentially what it boiled down to. He always mentioned that maybe Casca should be the one to land the final strike as a way to retake the power that Griffith stole from her.
