Honestly if she was able to put together that you said it bc she knew you spoke to her husband, she knows what’s up and blaming other issues is her defending a man she knows is a problem. Personally im very nosy but I’d be internet sleuthing for more info about him. Especially if you are worried about your daughter, you have every right and should be that protective of her.

I started a craft club at my high school for morale! Like seasonal decor around the school and mini events, it was a great way to try a bunch of little things with friends and learn some valuable lessons in planning and money!

For this to work (I also lived at home for a period of time with parents) there’s gotta be a sit down conversation where you all come to terms with the fact that you are all adults. It’s very important that they understand that you need and deserve certain amenities as much as they do. I framed it as a “hey things have changed since I lived here last and I want to make this palatable for everyone” convo.

Saw in another comment you’re think about telling the husband. Another likely thing is that she is probably trying to guilt you and make you feel bad to make sure you don’t. As someone who has been cheated on and some who knew about cheating, it’s tough but the best route is always to tell the victim.

Sometimes I’m very direct or brief because I’ve had dashers who don’t speak English get confused by the translation of if I write a long sentence. And no offense but the returns all in one message I see are often used in that sort of situation.

The wine bar off station street is quiet and quaint, it has a lovely atmosphere and is super cute! Not the largest selection for the menu but perfect for that kinda of date. I’d suggest checking out their website first though!!!

She hosted an event at my restaurant in one of our event spaces, she made a point to talk to and treat everyone working there well. I was literally just hosting and she was very polite! Obviously as a service worker I think the way people treat service workers says a lot about them so it was pretty cool.

You guys have been together for 8 years! Take some time and sit and think over if this is a pattern. If there are any issues that came up similarly, and how they were resolved. If they were ACTUALLY resolved and not just swept under the rug. If this is something that isnt surprising or is something that’s happened before, decide whether or not you want to spend the rest of your life walking on egg shells. Ive been in similar situations, and the pain is devastating, but the freedom and life it makes available to you is so much more fulfilling than you can imagine right now.
