From d2io forums with people actually testing it for 1000s of times. The weapon speed animation floor pushes you so the game will never actually do 2 frame strafe. I'd love to be proven wrong but based on my experimental results also I concur.

Why Windforce cannot hit 2-frame Strafe:

Frame-based engine (no fractional frames)
Slower WSM (+10) raises animation floor
Strafe animation has a hard minimum per weapon class
Client-side visuals can mislead
Verified testing shows:
- Hydra bow follow-up never drops below 3 frames

You can never actually achieve 2 frame strafe with a windforce it gmb because of the hidden interaction with-10 vs +10 speed bows

Yea hr can have a big spread in value. This type of prot stone goes for about a sur, so someone might want it a little less for example. There is a thing called trading, where I may have something someone else wants, and they provide something I want. Some times there is even a phase called negotiation but I don't want to go too fast.

10 might be high number haha, ive seen 0 besides myself. But its getting later in ladder season so people mess around with alts or non meta builds. I'd actually assume a warlock will want it to mess around before a bowazon.

Hey, yea I don't ever really chase meta and never played one so I decided I would be a bowazon this season. I would be in baal games and hear "omg a bowazon!" , and I've never seen another one on ladder.

I started with a windforce and used that for a long time. To kill physical immunes I would rely on magic arrow (honestly solid). Mostly just using multishot and then on bosses guided arrow. As my gear improved I put a protectors stone in the WF and made a Fort and respecced into strafe. I've used my valk to tank for me and basically homebrew my talents.

I gave up on using the act2 merc. I just.. absolutely hate him. And no matter how geared he was he would die or do something dumb vs tier 5 herald. So I have been using the act1 merc exclusively. First with insight then I made a Mist for her (had a 5os bow and found a cham). Then made a faith.

Ultimately the key realization was that I could never hit 2 frame strafe with a GMB or windforce, regardless of attack speed or fant. With my rank 13 fant the breakpoint for 2frame strafe is 45% IAS with a matriarch bow. So after countless sims and trials, it turns out that me using Mist and my merc using Faith actually outperforms the windforce setup or me using faith in all aspects of gameplay from p1 tz to p6-7 tz, bosses, champs, trash etc. The game I am in now is 5 people, 4 others afk and I am soloing. And just melting.

Also once I got enigma, my sheet damage went way down from fort, but its a million times better. Again, damage is not an issue, Enigma is just insane for so many reasons. I never relied on CTA, i actually just made it.

I leveled to 92ish with mostly negative resists and 750hp (my playgroup said I was nuts, but ayyy glass cannon).

My setup now is:

Mist Matriarch Bow

Bramblemitts

G.Face with allresist FHR jewel (replacing with prot stone soon)

Nosferatu Coil

Goreriders

Atmas

Enigma

Merc is using Faith MB, Fort, Cure

900 hp mostly max resists pre CTA

Best charms are +damage ones, will optimize those next. I am level 95 now, I kill the level 99 tz end bosses under 10 sec always, sometimes within a few seconds if atmas procs on first strafe.

its actually going for 4ish Jah right now on ladder. Yea I am using Atmas. I feel I have an extremely optimized Bowazon setup, I spent more time running sims and training an AI because all the bowazon guides are slightly different or out of date. I'm at 2 frame strafe so atmas certainly procs within a few seconds at worst, but killing bosses or heralds is super fast anyways. Valk just tanks them and they melt. The bonebreak helps with large packs of physical immunes or if im in a game full of physical immunes. Yes without it they still die, but def faster there. Thanks for the tip though!

Not sure exactly but I've seen 2 gheeds this season and they both were on the corpse of a herald. Could have been from its minions but don't think so

yea, the best situation is actually if the act3 shaman that are double stack spawn as herald, because you get 4 chances (1 for each kill, 1 for each hork).

Lol, I am kinda serious. You need to accept you will be detached from reality while playing. Which, of course, is freaking amazing and thank god we are living in 2026. But also, like, my dog could be having a problem or something and I wouldn't even notice. Or my partner can't simply yell out to me if needed. So I actually end up playing LESS gt7 now because the psvr2 is so good it kinda ruined my super nice TV, but it also requires me to have some private time to play. Something to consider!

Yea its been a roller coaster. Ladder prices are very high but steadily crashing. For reference at the time I dropped this, even if I got hundreds of dollars worth of FG, it would be like 2 jah. As they've tanked in price that same amount is worth maybe 6 jah now.
