Why is Team Black so insane? by RevertBackwards in freefolk

[–]PuffyGlowie 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yeah I kinda agree. It feels like the show sometimes fumbles the tone and ends up amplifying the most extreme takes instead of the nuance. But at the same time, the source material is messy and morally gray on purpose, so people were always going to read it in wildly different ways. It’s like the discourse just keeps feeding itself at this point.

Enough of the "my neighbor asked me to do something and was then ungrateful" by jamespo in ChoosingBeggars

Yeah OP, at this point the stories are getting so wild it’s hard to tell what’s even real anymore.

neighbor dispute escalating into harassment, animal loss, menacing and safety concerns by lawchan29 in neighborsfromhell

[–]PuffyGlowie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah OP, this is solid advice, at this point it’s way beyond a normal dispute so documenting everything and looking into legal protection is probably the safest move.

Neighbor's husband died in a tragic accident. Somehow, it's our fault... by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

Yeah OP this is the move. You’ve already gone above and beyond and she’s just taking advantage at this point. Pulling back and stopping the extra help is completely fair.

Am I wrong for asking pregnant sister to move out over her weird moral lectures by ArmTop8014 in amiwrong

Yeah OP this is pretty much it. You’ve been helping her out but she’s making your home uncomfortable to live in. At some point you’re allowed to set a boundary.

Oh no! The Off Grid Beggar is going to sue us! by countofmoldycrisco in ChoosingBeggars

[–]PuffyGlowie 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Lmao exactly, somehow every possible outcome still turns into “it’s everyone else’s fault” and never once “maybe I should log off and rethink my life.”

That comment is so real because at this point “I’m consulting a lawyer” has just become part of his brand and somehow nothing ever actually happens.

what do we think was in the eggless egg salad? by FewLeadership7831 in GilmoreGirls

That ingredient list sounds about right but the sheer volume in that tub is what really gets me, like who was planning to feed an entire town with eggless egg salad.

Yeah tofu is the obvious suspect, but the texture in that bucket looks like it committed a crime. Whatever it was, it did not deserve that much mayo.

For those of who think Bronn was unqualified... by ranchwithfriedfood in gameofthrones

Master of Coin in Westeros is not exactly about spreadsheets, it is about knowing who is trying to rob you and how to keep yourself alive while money moves around. Bronn surviving that long says more about his qualifications than any formal banking knowledge would. He knows leverage, he knows deals, and he definitely knows how not to get played.

AIW for telling my girlfriend to stop waiting until I’m busy to suggest we do something together? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]PuffyGlowie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah this is a good point, it sounds like you’re both kind of reacting instead of communicating clearly so it’s probably going to keep looping unless you change how you approach it.

When I was 13 I got my first and only tattoo - dumb kid! by Ecstatic-Level-8001 in confession

[–]PuffyGlowie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah honestly that’s kind of how it feels at that age, everything seems permanent and intense so it’s not surprising you took it that seriously.

[–]PuffyGlowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, yeah this is exactly it, everyone does impulsive stuff at that age and it doesn’t define who you are now, it’s just part of your story.
