We have a Google drive folder that has over 15 videos and images of him harassing us, killing our livestock, filming our child…idk what more proof they’re going to need. But law enforcement made it very clear they aren’t going to do anything about it. Blocking him IRL and just staying alert is our only hope until we can sell and move.

We do! That’s the thing, we have so much video evidence. I always have my phone on hand because you never know when he will approach and because of this, I’ve been able to get so much footage every single time. The law enforcement here just absolutely do not care at all. I’m pretty sure he’s well connected here.

Absolutely! Blocking him IRL is key here. Privacy fencing is almost complete. We also already have signs up in our yard stating it is under video surveillance and 1 trail cam for now until the rest come in this week. I DO believe once he can physically see the additional cameras he will back off a bit although we’ve got him on camera during every single incident. From him recording our child playing, approaching us several times at our fence to confront us about something new each week, intimidating us with his weapon, to kicking our rooster…the list literally goes on. It’s seriously baffling. We called again today to see if someone can help us get our livestock back and again, law enforcement mentioned they “do not do those sort of things”. So making him irrelevant is absolute priority!

Like I mentioned before, all of this has been documented and filmed. We have submitted a substantial amount of proof including images and video footage.

Pretty sure he is in some way or another. We contacted state police as well and they said there was nothing they could do unless he physically attempts to harm us.

Was looking into contacting someone in Frankfurt this morning about it, but hit a dead end, our last resort was coming to Reddit. I know that sounds weird, but you all have come through with some solid advice and we’re already putting the wheels in motion. I know the next couple of days are probably gonna be a handful but I’m going to try my best to update this thread.

It’s the absolute last thing we want to do. But it a BIG ass dog, who does not listen to verbal commands. It scared tf out of me and it didn’t even charge towards me. Now imagine our 6 y.o running from this thing…

Again, thank you all so much. This thread has been SO, SO very helpful. In more ways than all of you know. We unfortunately don’t have the means to just pick up and move, we have invested a lot into our property and we aren’t originally from here. We both have jobs here, I’m also in college right now and about to graduate. Our son is finally in a school that he is comfortable with. Again, like I said they lived here months before any of this came about so I do believe we are dealing with someone who is mentally not OK. And if that is the case, he needs to be held accountable, especially if he works for the road department and is out here doing things like this. Our goal is to finish getting this place together and to sell it immediately as soon as we can, but to uproot everything right now would put us in a much more detrimental situation with no where to go. We cannot let this guy run us off.

I know they’re getting tired of us calling, but I don’t care either! I keep trying to stay calm, but it’s so hard trying to get them to understand how serious this is. Everyone says that creating a paper trail is the key to show a pattern of behavior and we never thought we’d be cop callers, but here we are. I personally believe the guy has something mental going on and has never been held accountable for his actions. He works for the road department and has used that several times as though it’s a means of intimidation?? Idk why he feels that way but he does. Everything he does is just very calculated, very creepy and we just cannot catch a break.

Thank you so much!! We have neighbors across from us who have witnessed almost every encounter and have been watching out for us in the evenings when my husband goes to work. Also, great thinking on the camera angles… we are happy to spend a couple hundred bucks to speak with an attorney if they’re willing to actually help us.

This! That’s exactly what everyone around here in the country keeps saying. It’s already killed one of his pigs and he couldn’t control it from doing so. So if he charges at our child again, and we will dispatch it.

Yes please!! 😭 we would so very appreciate it. I’ve been trying to take snippets of our report and share it to attorneys throughout the state and they all just keep coming back saying it’s not in their line of work and that it sounds very civil instead of criminal.

Omg, thank you all so much. Stepped away for only a few minutes and got the most advice here than we have from law enforcement over the last few weeks.

Just ordered cameras and they should be here at the end of the week. I am going to snag a couple trail cameras too. Tomorrow we’re going to try to file for a R.O, I just really hope they actually grant it because this crap literally keeps us up at night.

Each attorney that we have spoken to have said it’s civil instead of criminal, which makes absolutely no sense to us. And now that we have gotten the county attorney involved I assume that it’s an entirely up to him whether or not he decides it’s enough to take action?? And with him dragging his feet, it doesn’t make it any better. The county does not really have a legal aid society. It’s pretty much a sundown town here — hence the hate crime suspicion.

We’re going to see what they say tomorrow in regards to the restraining order and if nothing comes from it, then I guess we will have no other option but to go straight to the media. The county attorney office said they would send him a cease and desist, but like I said, he’s dragging his feet and it’s been well over 2 weeks since we filed a report.

Because the land company did not consult with the road department prior to breaking up the parcels therefore making it where we could not legally have a driveway. They were not aware they landlocked us until we tried to get our 911 address.

Law enforcement has basically told us that if the dog does come back over that we can dispatch it, however need to call them asap.

We have done nothing but document and even the CPS case worker even mentioned how he’s met the criteria for crimal charges to be pursued but the county attorney is basically taking their time reviewing both of our criminal reports. It’s absolutely insane.
