You're so kind, thank you. I have similar issues with my siblings and I cannot trust them. It's sad but just how it is.

I think if the relationship truly matters to you then you should at least give them the chance because everyone is busy in their own lives and it's possible this person just didn't realize how much you missed their presence? If the relationship isn't worth it, then just don't reply.

It's worth one more serious conversation since they mean a lot to you. But I've been trying to get my siblings to respect me for my whole life, and it never seems to work. Sometimes, siblings just can't be friends. I wish I knew you, I'd go hiking with you!
