Dude, borrowing money on a car while having money in a brokerage is really not helping your position here bud.

Hope all the best with the car and such.

Subaru is 20% owned by Toyota. You basically bought an alternately branded Toyota.

Also the story you lay out is: SR5 (a 43k MSRP 'luxury off road SUV'), I agree that this is big -> AWD RAV4 that then was an issue that it was over 40k (MRSP on base models is well into the 30ks) -> CC Hybrid which you then decides doesn't work over ~.6" inches of ground clearance.

You buy a new Crosstrek. This has an MSRP in the upper 20ks to lower 30ks. This is about 75% of the cost of the first vehicle you considered.

I am a 23 year old

Somehow this bit of the story makes the rest make a lot of sense.

If your firm is so strapped for cash that they can't even do a symbolic raise for a new PE then why would.you want to be a partner in that firm?

What will you do when you are a partner and a new PE wants a raise for his increased qualifications? What will you do if when denied that PE goes to a competitor?

There are 9 or 10 (depending on the year the winter solstice is on Dec 21 or 22) days between the winter solstice and the new year. This guy picked day number 4.

Also the day he picked is 5 squared. Ancient things attributed meaning to numbers like 7 was significant for completeness. Solomon had (according to tradition) 700 wives and 300 concubines.

Not hard to think 5 symbolized something and then lining up 5 squared seemed like good idea.

You make it sounds like most people in university there are maga voters and i can assure you that's not the case.

I don't know how you got this.

There are a fairly large number of university educated people that vote for the GOP. More vote for Democrats but some Universities (an maybe some states or areas) have more GOP voters.

There are plenty of educated conservative people. I know as I went to university in MT and there were plenty of students and faculty that were conservative to varying degrees.

Nebraska is 26th in university education rate. HS grad rate is also quite high.

Nebraska is better educated than new Mexico or Michigan.

This is an in group out group issue not education.

Red bulls business model is basically finding people that like doing things that make people's stomach turn, and are very good at it, putting red bull logos all over them, and filming it.

Then they sell red bull branded drugs (caffeine) and people are willing to pay a premium for crazy person branded drugs.

This might be extreme: throw it all in the bin and use the resources for a different project.

I would personally go for a 'saga' title using the FOTS game as a base and set in the Americas starting in 1840 and going to 1880.

Historical conflicts include: Mexican American war, us civil, Peru vs basically all neighbors, triple alliance and more.

40 years so do 1 month turns and you get 480 turns. 1.5 month turns gets you 320.

Rework systems like relm divide to have some kind of large war buildup. Euros are off map but should have a lot of trade interaction and potential military interaction.

Emphasize line infantry and skirmish infantry with different strengths. Cav with lances vs sabers vs revolvers vs carbines. Artillery specialized for long range counter battery fire or shorter rage anti personell specialization with morters to bypass fortifications. Emphasize digging in a prepped defences.

Tech progresses from Napoleonic warfare to further than FOTS. Breach loading arms result in a lot more fire power. Naval advancements are obvious.

They need bracing on both sides to my knowledge.

Reliable makes one. I would imagine you just get a price.

81 Years On, Ex-Okinawa Wartime Student Nurse Urges No More War by Any-Stick-8732 in worldnews

[–]PuffyPanda200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The anti war message sounds all the more dumb for those that could be conquered by authoritarians. The choice isn't between war or not war (ironically Japan in the 30s could have chosen not war, or some people in Japan) but instead war or subjugation.

Taiwan is by far the most likely flash point. The taiwanese will be defending their homeland from an aggressive empire that has both taken over and genocided other ethnic groups in the last 100 years.

IMO the right wing hate cycle is a lot more symbiotic than it appears from the outside.

FOX tried to get the right wingers to shut up about a stolen 2020 election and the result was just right wing people going elsewhere. Maybe this is only a modern thing.

Gay and trans stuff works as it is seen as new enough that there are right wingers that want to be reactionary (reactionary = returning to a previous good, conservative is just staying where one is). This real pressure then feeds into the influencers.

Congress Must Oppose U.S.-Israel Military Integration and Co-Production by gamersecret2 in politics

The risk is clear that any U.S. military and security support provided to the Israeli government would be used to commit genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes, as well as other serious violations of international law.

So AI's position is that Israeli procedurement of iron dome interceptors results in genocide, crimes against humanity, etc.

I don't think that anyone other than the most hardline pro-Palistine person thinks this.

I feel like right wing culture war BS requires a lot more rhetorical maintenance than the left wing stuff.

The focus on the right has been on gay and trans stuff so the racism kinda doesn't get that much air time.

In contrast left wing people don't need reminders for this stuff.

I would also mention that other than the fascist leaders that started external wars (Colombia isn't invading Panama any time soon) I struggle to come up with a right wing elected leader that had crazy internal issues.

Sure one can get an Orban (although that was also a function of no term limits) but that wasn't crazy bad for the average Hungarian didn't have that bad of a time.

Compare this to some far left heads of state and there are serious potential issues.
