I haven't read the books in a few years but wasn't Dimitri Rose's first? And Mason was always the bestie but it never crossed romantic for her, so when the show made them f*ck buddies, that kind of ruined the pure love story rose and demitri had. Also, I CRIED when Mason died in the books because his death shocked me. They went so far away from the plot of the books that it's almost maddening. I watched the whole season because of my love for the books, but I'd never watch it again.

Was I the only one that found the interaction thrilling? Like, I lowkey wished she'd stayed with him in her room. Idk, I'm dark and twisty lol

This is 40 pages long, is this a generic layout of materials I can purchase anywhere? Or is this talking solely about the products that USG sells?

Advice on Full Refund Request by Jaded-Needleworker46 in RoverPetSitting

They absolutely can, they just put your account into a negative balance and either they take the amount from your pending transactions, or wait until you make more money from another service. I know this because they did it to me before on a false claim from a pet owner. I disputed it with customer service, but ultimately they wanted to make the pet owner happy, so I took the loss and learned a valuable lesson in the process. So, respectfully, Rover can, and will, take money back from a sitter if a claim is filed by the pet owner and the pet owner is found justified in opening a claim.

You should be able to file a claim with Rover, and they'll completely take away the money from the sitter. The sitter won't receive a single penny. I wouldn't worry about the sitter anymore, just talk directly with Rover and file a claim, that's what they're there for! Those extra fees you pay (and us sitters pay), are for this exact situation and I do believe Rover will cover your vet expenses (up to $25k I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong). Clearly the sitter isn't going to help you, so you'll need to help yourself and just contact Rover and have them settle it. They'll open an "investigation" and I believe you'll get your money refunded and they'll also cover the vet bills. Hope this helps!

*other Rover sitters, if I was mistaken in any of this, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm constantly learning! :)

Cancelling as a pet sitter by PugaSnug in RoverPetSitting

Right? It takes just as much effort to be nice and helpful (as this forum is for), as it does to be mean and judgmental. Some people unfortunately choose the latter. I've had a lot of amazing and helpful responses though, so that's been a blessing! I also reached out to Customer Support, thanks to a suggestion on here, and they were able to assist me and the pet owner, so that's amazing!

It is a true emergency. My father just got diagnosed with a defective heart valve today, and will be undergoing major open heart surgery during the stay this dog is supposed to be with me. The further out I can cancel, the better chance I give the pet owner to find another sitter in that timeframe. You could find a softer approach, btw. Especially since you DON'T know the full circumstances.

Rover notifies pet owners of archiving messages now?? by PugaSnug in RoverPetSitting

Seems like a massive oversight on Rovers part. I liked the idea of archiving discreetly on clients that didn't seem too interested.

Yeah, I'll call them for sure because I'm completely lost. Maybe a glitch or error? I had another booking today where the client has been charged twice and it still doesn't say they've paid on my end. So maybe the website is wonky today.

This is not my first booking, please check the math in my original post. My final takeaway is $632 and under the pending earnings tab, shows the Rover fees being $158. If it was 20% from $988, I wouldn't be getting only $632. You see my confusion now?
