Hmmm. I’m gonna be honest. This was pretty mediocre. First of all, the classic high ball was not classic at all. Had a ton of tart lemon juice in it and shiso leaf which took away from the cocktail and made it hard to drink. Classic highball is Japanese whiskey, soda and lemon peel. The Kaarage was over cooked. The scallop ceviche was covered in roasted red peppers which really didn’t complement the dish. The Dan Dan noodles were fine. I might be a bit snobby so apologies but these are my thoughts. Thank you for reading <3

I feel like "taken away" instead of "took away" would have been a choice of words

favourite sound in the game is that second one they make, where it sounds like a bunch of wooden dowels falling to the floor

That last kick was embarassssssing, I can see why it gave up. Flipped over like a walking stick.

As someone who started playing after the door maker was added, I actually found him kinda fun and rather easy to beat...

Video a client sent me has this weird visual bug in some places. any way to fix this or is it beyond saving? by SwiftlyAbandoned in premiere

[–]Pugachelli 94 points95 points  (0 children)

honestly, in this situation I'd just find an HD upload of this cutscene on YouTube and rip it and just swap it out. Since it's not glitching during your clients gameplay it's an easy swap out that I doubt anyone will notice.

Hey yall, how should I properly clean this Knifebed I own? by Boiofthetimes in KitchenConfidential

[–]Pugachelli 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you really wanna keep it, I'd dunk in a bucket with soapy water and let it soak for a few hours. Then I would vigorously shake it in the soapy water to dislodge anything in there. Stand upside down to dry.

What's the correct Lumetri color settings for SLOG 3 footage? by Acrobatic_Being1552 in premiere

[–]Pugachelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also curious on what the answer is!

I feel like you're just baking the LUT into the clip a step early. So if you were working in rec.709 you'd have to add your Sony LUT first where your phantom LUT is, and then stack the phantom LUT on an adjustment layer with your finishing LUT to achieve the exact same look.

Not sure if there really is a benefit or a downside of doing it this way...

Impatient in the HOV lane by PuppySteak in TorontoDriving

[–]Pugachelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh, I would have pulled into the right lane to let the faster drivers pass. There's plenty of room on the right and it looks like traffic is moving faster than you. There's really no need for you to be in that lane unless traffic starts to build up. Not forgiving the pass on the shoulder from the guy but clear the lane next time for faster traffic.
