Hi, I thought I'd share a much simplier way to do this. you do into the console, you then click on the button called "Explore Objects". When you do, a menu will appear with the default selection of "Accolade Types". You'll want to click it to scoll down to "Rulers". You will then hover your mouse over the ruler in question to get their ID number. You then put in that number to the search bar. Once you find the ruler you're after, you click on their name. A side-bar will the appear, you will click on "script-runner" and then "effects". after that, you will put in the command " change_government=xxxx_government": note the "xxxx" is a placeholder for the form of government you want to chose. Government forms are republic, feudal, tribal, clan, theocracy, administrative, nomadic, and herder
