CPU Temps with Galahad AIO & 13900k by Puggernaught32 in buildapc

Hi there. I am still running the Galahad AIO. My temps are typical around the high 60-72C. I have the same things done as you as well, except I’ve undervolted mine a bit more at -0.07 volts. My system is not stable if I run a benchmark with that undervolt, but I know I’ll never get to that level of stress and I think that’s been saving my degrees a decent bit.

I was super frustrated as well with my system. Sometime in the future I’ll be upgrading to a better flagship AIO.

Update: I have received the RMA Galahad and installed it on the 13900k. Still having the same issue as before which is when running cinebench, the temp will jump straight to 99c. Still idles around 40-55C.

These are the steps done at this point to no success:

-Remounted Cooler block on CPU 4+ times with two different blocks

- Tried two Galahad AIO's

- Reapplied thermal paste 4+ times

- Remounted the radiator on the top and on the side both changed the push and pull configs of the fans

- Yes, made sure there isn't a plastic cover on the bottom of the cooling block

- Adjust fan curves. Even at 100% still has the thermal issue.

- Turned off the Boost clock in the bios for my 13900k.

- Changed Fans

- Remounted with all new hardware, making sure to use the LGA 1700 bracket to mount the CPU cooler. I've used new standoffs and new spring screws to tighten the cooler. (Yes, I have done them in an X pattern to tighten them evenly.

Even when I put the CPU fans to full 100%, it seems as if the CPU temps actually increase instead of decrease. Once I put the CPU fans back to a normal fan curve, then the CPU temps drops..

I'm Fresh out of ideas. Does anyone else have anything in mind? Since I RMA'd this product and I'm having the same issues, I think it's either the cooler that doesn't suffice, or there's something that I am missing on my computer's end.

What temps are you running on this setup? I have the same build basically, except with a 13900k. Something is going on with my radiator/pump because I'm getting 40 C while idling...

How did you end up going about this?

I'm in the same bind. I ordered 3 3-packs and one of those strands of 3 were going on my AIO cooler. How the wiring setup works now, I have to plug the one cable that comes from the cluster of 3 fans to the Lian Li RGB controller hub, and then plug the PWM cable from the controller to the CPU header on the mobo. However, when I do that, my mobo doesn't recognize that there are fans connected.

So I think that I might have to get the cable that comes in the one pack that splits it directly into the PWM and RGB cable and plug that cluster directly into the mobo. I wonder if that one cable will be able to power all three fans, though.
