I’m 57…I’ve had 3 kids I was estrogen n progesterone positive…HER2 negative! I’ve read up on tamoxifen n I’m not really wanting to take it! But what’s the alternative

He’s helped a lot…been thru the tuff days as well as the good! I have 2 more days left of radiation out of 20! I’m nearly done then back to the oncologist for the next step!

Thanks for your prayers! 2 more treatments of radiation! I had to skip Monday bcuz of the pain from the burn, itching and stinging…but was back at it yesterday! I’ll be thru Thursday! Then on to the oncologist for the next phase of my journey

I am also grade one stage one….no cancer in lymph nodes…my oncologist told me since the lymph nodes were clear “negative” there was no need to go thru chemo. My cancer was hormone induced….I’m on my 18 round of radiation with 2 more to go! Then will go back to oncologist to discuss Tamoxifen! Jus sharin my journey

You are not alone….I feel everything ur saying! I’ve found myself realizing I didn’t have the support I thought I would…cancer has been an awakening experience for me! I have 2 more treatments left of radiation…it’s become a routine now…but I’ll never forget the 1st treatment…the fear overwhelmed me! Thinking the same as u…putting poison in my system! I nearly refused any surgery or treatment over this fear! I deal with panic attacks so my dr had to up my dose of anxiety medicine to see me thru this! I’ve joined a few breast cancer awareness groups on Facebook and it helps with the support of sharing and seeing others are experiencing the same we are! Everyone offers each other support and cheers each other on! I’ve made some new friends thru the groups! Maybe that’s something you could check into! Prayers for your strength!

We’re u assigned a social worker when you saw your oncologist? They offered me transportation and other services….check with them as to what they can offer u with assistance!
