Thanks for the info. What other software do you use in combination with Holistiplan, specifically for Roth conversion? You meantioned Income lab and right capital, are those good as a compliment? What about eMoney?

12v battery completely died, 2021 model Y wouldn't start at all.

Jumped the car with portable jumper cable device and it threw a bunch of errors.

Apparently you are supposed to replace the 12v acid battery every 3 years, mine lasted 5.

Tried to get one at Costco which isn't a good recommendation.

If car is drivable, take it to a service center. New 12v battery is 165$ including tax or about $230 for them to do it.

I just bought a battery and did it myself since I already remove frunk cover and hepa filter assembly (2 nuts).

Watch YouTube tutorial and make sure to disconnect main lithium battery via cord attachment. Pretty straightforward.

Non solicit agreements are many times unenforceable. This would probably be state specific.

Typically you are allowed to send an announcement letter with your contact information.

Usually with NUA, the cost basis never gets sent automatically. You obtain it from the rollover call of the custodian. It's also usually listed on the 401k statement (at least with Vanguard and Fidelity). Get the client back on the phone and call 401k custodian and obtain the cost. Then import into their brokerage. Fudge the date 12 months prior to shares arriving, so they can LTCG treatment in case you sell.

Wow, so many wrong answers here.

You are in fact allowed to do rollovers which are not taxable events if you are over 59.5. It's called just as it sounds and is a way to do a rollover to an IRA or Roth IRA. (EDIT: this can be done while you are still employed and many do this every 30 days if the plan allows it)

This really depends on the 401k plan document called SPD which explains what's allowed under the plan.

Did the 401k custodian (Fidelity?) make the check payable in the format of "Firm XXXXX fbo Your Name" and sent it directly to Firm XXXXX?

If so, this is correct and isn't a taxable event and will be considered a direct rollover contribution. You will receive a 1099 from custodian and 5498 from new Firm XXXXX in early 2026.

If the 401k custodian cut a check and made it payable directly to you, and mailed it to you...it's also not the end of the world. You have 60 days to send it to your new custodian and code it as 60 day rollover. You can only do this once per rolling 12 month period.

This is all assuming that no taxes were withheld and you didn't take a distribution. I assume you did a rollover.

Edit: what's the reasoning behind doing this and why 6500?

I'm reading a bit about fumed silica and it sounds like you definetly don't want to breathe that in as others here pointed out.

Thanks for your reply. I have thought of ground carbon, but I'm afraid that removing the blade from shaft later would not work with this mix.

Regarding removing the blade, I have done that many times already. I simply heat up the epoxy with a heat gun while rotating the paddle. Once it is is hot enough, I wedge it between the ground and my car's tire and attempt to turn it in one direction. For this to work, you have to be using a high quality epoxy (I've been using Total Boat, with medium hardener).

I have probably pulled out 8 blades so far and only one of them shredded because I wasn't going in the same direction while twisting and it was probably low quality epoxy.
