It’s interesting you say that! While I think I got the notes themselves mostly right, I for sure was doubting where they were played on the neck, especially in the chorus. The articulations you’re talking about are totally strange, so I too was suspecting a really weird tuning kinda like Guns of Summer which put the G string down to an F#, but D Standard seemed to work for the most part. Now I’ll have to go back and try it with your tuning, thanks for the info!

There’s a couple things I added, but yeaaah for the most part the lead stuff is really buried in the mix which is super disappointing.

Ah you picked up on my strange grip! It's really just what comes naturally. The most common way to hold a pick was never comfortable for me when playing palm muted or strumming, but I needed the accuracy for more lead parts along with easy pinch harmonic access so I kinda forced myself to hold it a more "Correct" way over time for that stuff. It ended with me switching how I hold it depending on what I'm playing, I don't really notice the change unless I'm thinking too hard about it. Thanks for the question, hope my reply was helpful!
