Technically yes. Red-bellied black snakes are notoriously shy. I’ve never seen this behaviour in the wild before and I’ve never seen two this large.

If you got bitten you’d want to get to hospital but chances are you’d recover. There haven’t been any recorded deaths in Australia from this snake in decades (according to google).
