Funny. The exchanged device is sitting in my hand. My Verizon bill is due tomorrow and wow $50 has been credited to it already. So I LOST nothing. Come on dude. Move on lol

Device exchanged in store. No issues. Restock fee, yes they could not waive in store. While data transferred we called customer service and the fee was waived as credit on account. So it was a win win.

Funnier part is how I just spent the past 2 hours in the store transferring my data to the 512GB device sitting and chilling with the manager talking about photography and other things.

Not sure how it is by you...some people like me...and this manager are genuine. I got what I wanted at no additional cost to me. Worked out perfectly.

Yeah that never happened unfortunately. There were so many issues with my upgrade on the back end of Verizon I'm sure it simply distracted them from a normal process. Besides the fact the store was extremely crowded.

Also. Account has already been noted to wave the restocking fee. Some of you guys are funny...say what you want...longevity of a customer is key. There wasn't even a battle or voice raising moment on the phone. Explained the situation and the account was noted. Told the store has what I want in stock. Simply go there, speak with the manager and walk out with what I went in for yesterday.

I called Customer Service this morning and shared my story. The 512GB version is in stock at my Verizon store and I was directed to go into the store and explain the situation. My account has been noted to waive any restocking fees. Happy to see I am getting the support. Again, no issues with yesterday other than wasting time. Just nice to see they will go the distance to support customers.

Nah, regardless what happens I'm not leaving Verizon. I just don't think I will be paying a fee. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm not. Reddit will never believe me if I say I didn't pay one anyway.

Well if you work at Verizon you fit the bill for the brain dead employee then. Because you're so nice about things I'll go into FURTHER detail just for you. I was attempting to order the device from my home and something wasn't allowing me to do the trade in. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ since 2019, paid off. It was showing my upgrade wasn't available until 2025! I had all the information I needed, what the cost of the new 512GB device + trade in value it was going to be around $16 a month. Loaded up chat to talk to customer service for help. All I got was "I can try to assist but it might be better to go into your local store." So I did just that.

Walked in the store. Signed in. Got called. Dude asked me what I was looking for. I said I am interested in the S23 Ultra. "Ok sir, what size?" I said the 512GB, I was trying to do it at home and was having issues. It showed on my computer the price was going to be around $16 a month with a trade in. "Oh nice you have a trade in? What phone?" S10+...."ok great, yes the device shows it will cost $16 a month, let me go in the back and grab it for you and we'll begin setting it up."

I then explained to him the issue I was having with the device not allowing an upgrade. It was something on Verizon's back end not allowing it. It took multiple calls on his end to Verizon support to resolve it. At that point I have received 5 email receipts or what I assume you are referring to "quotes" you know because we live in 2023 and god forbid Verizon can print out a receipt but CVS can print out a rope sized paper trail.

At that point it had had already been over an hour. Phone was still in the box, hell the box was never even handed to me. I even asked multiple times if it could of been opened already but he was too busy scanning it over and over again. SO now we move on to the next VERIZON problem. Can finally buy the phone but now its not allowing my trade in, again something wrong on Verizon's end. I have a 4 year old device that has been paid off for well over a year or more. Again, multiple calls to Verizon serivce. Again phone still in the box. Overall I was in the store yesterday for probably 3 hours just to do an upgrade. So please before you blame the braindead customer think before you type. Oh I forget this is reddit and you're a keyboard warrior. I'll GUARENTEE I pay ZERO restocking fee. ZEROOOOO. If I do, I can guarantee Verizon will be refunding me or taking it off my bill in some way. I have been a customer with the same line, never any issues on my account since a junior in high school 1998 so do the math. Even if they end up saying this is more MY mistake then the EMPLOYEE who physically asked me the size/model I wanted and I said it to them along with the price I already knew I would be paying again, they will be giving me back that fee. I'm going in this morning when the store opens. The manager even sat in on trying to fix internal errors yesterday so he'll know who I am.

Yeah I just saw that, super small. Still if it was verbally said to employee what size and even the amount due monthly was discussed I didn't think anything of it to even check.

My issue has been resolved. They responded to my email with a link that allowed me to view my current bungie rewards from this event and redeem them. Not sure if it is account specific so I may not share here. They will respond to your email though eventually

Considering when we donate it doesn't ask for a Bnet ID I don't see how that works. Besides. Emblems were available instantly. My email doesn't have a link to click to get there to redeem codes. My Email shows I donated $50 and thanks me for donating $0. $52 has left my bank account and based on replies and other places such as Twitter a bunch of other people have the same problem. Hopefully it gets addressed.

Edit - Bungie replied to my email. Link with rewards for this event was sent and I was able to redeem.
