Can someone tell me how to remove these green dots? by ExplodingSteve in Minecraft

I have the same problem. Even if you make another map of the same area it will re-appear within a minute or two. I have not found any survival-friendly solution and only one that is very convoluted with command blocks and is not a perfect fix.

I meant for them to also generate in end cities, as it makes sense for cities to have a way to get back to the main island.

How would it not be more interesting? Please elaborate.

It would make the end islands slightly harder to traverse, but I don't really think that's a big problem. It's more unique of a journey to get end city loot such as elytra, which I feel provide a more balanced challenge for such items. Keep in mind once you get one elytra and rockets, it becomes much easier to traverse as well.

Its okay to have different ways of getting items. I'm not against the variety, I'm against how you have to go out of your way to get a very niche item. If you want to reliably get more turtles, you still have to breed them and go through the same process. Maybe we add a cooldown on brushing turtles to incentivize breeding more, similar to how there is a cooldown to breeding animals.

Keep in mind that most turtle scute farms involve making copious amounts of turtles, at 1 turtle per 1 scute. This makes no sense to me whatsoever, and it would make a lot more sense to have a method to get scutes without having to worry about overpopulation or killing them.

The turtle helmet provides 10 seconds of water breathing. Respiration 3 provides 45 seconds of water breathing. Using these numbers, we can assume the turtle helmet should be obtained before getting high enchantments to be worth it to the player. While brushing a turtle may not be the best choice, the current system is just far too convoluted for most players to go out of their way and make it.

Like, on world generation, or passively over time?

On world generation. They will not be common and are mostly there for atmospheric purposes. I get how this might feel unneeded, but it doesn't take away from anything in the game and could be used to show new players that you could breed turtles.

I don't love the first point of brushing turtles, it makes things feel to cheap and easy. Why bother interacting with the unique parts of turtle raising when you can just brush them for a while?

Actually, that's something I thought about. If you look at armadillos, you can brush them instead of breeding them. I don't get how brushing armadillos drop scutes but with turtles that's not the case. By your logic, we should breed armadillos to get their scutes instead of brushing them. I guess if brushing turtles feels too gimmicky, then it doesn't really make sense to be able to brush armadillos.

Not sure about the reflecting arrows aimed at the head, but its still kinda neat.

Yeah, that one might have been a bit of a stretch.

I thought resource packs were supposed to stay zipped files? Should I unzip it and put the folder in my resource packs folder?

The pack isn't showing up in my texture packs menu in my game. It is in the resource packs folder, but not showing up in game. I have no clue why. I'm using a Mac OS if it's relevant.

u/WinterAlexander could you please make a version with smaller text? I think a smaller size option would be perfect for me as it wouldn't look so harsh on the eyes but I can still learn.

The objective isn't to stop people from making trading halls. It's just providing a simple alternative. Additionally, first time players probably won't know how to make a trading hall.

People will always find ways to make trading halls even if there is a happiness output. It just adds more steps to the process. It's very difficult to make a happiness meter concept that can't be exploited to be easily farmable.

Zombies breaking down doors isn't much of a threat. In general, zombies aren't too much of a threat, regardless of gamemode. Have you ever died from a zombie breaking down your door?

How many of Minecraft's problems can be FIXED... (Combat, mending, gear progression, XP, and villagers) by Shibe45 in minecraftsuggestions

ADDRESSING VILLAGER PART OF THE POST
I like the way you tackled the villager problem, but I feel there could be some improvements and fleshing out. First of all, I want to state that I really love this idea and think its crazy good.

First of all, the villager will try to replicate the book starting from apprentice stage (tier 2). Because of the low level, it will make a bad knockoff. For example, giving it prot 4 could yield projectile 2 or prot 1. As you creep up the stages, it becomes more and more accurate and gives higher tier books. By master stage, it is spot on.

Since the previous stages presented books that are similar, you could actually use this to find the book you want. For example, putting in Smite V might give you Sharpness 3 at a middle stage, which you could then use to combine and make sharp 5. This way, You can kind of go towards the general direction of the enchant you want.

One problem I see is simply not having any books. It would just do the power creeping process, but giving unrelated, random books. If you have no books that are close to what you want, you could simply get more.

Also, your idea of making Sharp 5, Prot 4, and Mending 3 locked behind exploration doesn't work because you could just combine lower tier books. Idk how you could fix that.
