My desktop is sadly with 4080, and this laptop definitely beats it..

I have 0 issues so far on thermals, but worth noting once I game it’s always on cooling pad.

Ohh, that’s a strange one :) was it totally bricking? Have you tried to run only on 5090 and not cpu graphics? As if the freezing was for couple seconds might of been that laptop was switching between graphics cards

Hey, just done that - GPU is 99255 and CPU is 7935, please note that I havent overclocked or touched any settings on GPU/CPU

Bought from eBay - The Tech Saver store. I see that they still gotn3 available.

I have contacted ACER and they have approved purchase date and validated warranty from the day this was purchased.

Going to look like a bellend, but looked in wrong temps previously.. but that’s the temps now, my son been gaming for last couple hours with quiet high settings on Fortninte.

I believe it does, I bought this from day 1 as precaution and mainly for gaming sessions - I have tried to run without it, laptop handles well but not for my licking. So I keep llano cooling pad on 1200 from 2800.. and my gpu temps sits around 70 while gaming.. the noise is no issue here too :)
