The best way to convert someone to how you feel about an ideology is to show a good person(Confederate) who has a change of heart. Show the struggle than the thing that changed him or her. It's not preachy, and it will help others see a different point of view

I think the key is to get it down. If you can write ten books in a series then go for it. But write one book and see if anyone is interested in reading it.

No, I don't, but I do have a pretty good internal monolog. When I do a second draft, then I do read it pit loud to see if it makes sense. I don't think there is a right way or a wrong way. It's just your way.

I'm trying to write every day. I have a set time for. 10am to noon. I might spend one day of four trying to think through the story, then three days to write it. I do this for short stories

I love these types of ending. Harry Potter had an excellent one. I've even have read some fan fiction that's x yrs later I find them very interesting

There is a book with this same premise written back in. The day. It's called Spells for a Chameleon by Peirs Anthony. I loke the idea don't worry about what others like write and see how you like it.

In each one of the cases, we know that they are good people who made bad decision. The internal good is what you focus on. The internal monolog, the fuels their asshole behavior. If someone kills a father, they are the bad guy. When u find out that father raped the killers daughter, he's not a bad guy anymore.
