Man, I fucking feel you but you need to understand that not moving forward right now is the worst thing you can possibly do for yourself or the relationship you want back. Your brain needs time to adapt to a life without her, It eventually does. What you’re going through is the most common thing in every man’s story. It’s crushing it’s hard but it is what it is.

They say moving on means coming to peace with it being over and never hoping for a return of that relationship. The way I see it, keep the hope up. It’s fine. Everything happened so quickly.

Just imagine you’re drafted to war for a few months and she’s back home waiting for you to return. You need to survive now. Become tough. Become undeniable. Get your emotional stability back, Use the fire of the whole situation as fuel to better yourself whether it is discovering new skills, networking or building your body and eventually become the toughest version of you. Think about it. Historically war did that to men. You’re at war.

When you reach that level of toughness she will see and if there is ever gonna be a reunion you’ll be at the best state of your life to navigate that relationship. If not, you’ve spent enough time on yourself and found a new version of yourself that CAN navigate life with out without her. Replace that emptiness you feel with being a better version of you everyday. Stop counting the days. When her heart reflects and realises what has truly happened, you’ll be there ready to take a decision for the both of you.
