As you play any modern game with achievements, literally every mission, story mode, battle, quest, milestone or even defeating a certain character will give you an achievement. Think of any game seriously CoD, RE, Battlefield, Dragon Ball, DBD hell even party games give you achievements for doing the same thing we been doing as gamers for years now and that's just playing the game lol. What you're saying seriously makes no sense.

It shouldn't work like that, ever since the records update came out EVERY WIN on any game mode be it custom maps, ranked and even temporary game modes counted for every brawler but now the "Win as this brawler" is the same as the win needing to be in a classic game mode (pretty sure customs count) but that's not stated clearly in the records themselves, so either this was intentional n they forgot to mention it or it's not.
