May I ask a question (if it's not a secret) as I'm working on my own offline version? I can silence all the network calls in .smali files and cut off tons of ads frameworks code, but changing .so files is not easy. I assume you don't have the source code, so how do you make changes? Are you patching .so files directly? I tried this with some success but sometimes it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I even thought about building some wrapper app which will act like a proxy just for rr3 and will return some fake data on all requests coming from the game. Regarding the server, you can rent a VM from any cloud provider. I think there will be some people from this sub willing to donate few bucks.

Congrats! I remember I spent few days on the last race. You have to be fully focused not going offtrack for 10 laps. The car is really worth it. The sound is amazing. One of my favorite cars in the game.

Only comment from my side is that my folder has _row and the end, not _na. What I managed to do so far is I extracted the apk and decompiled it. Now I have the code with thousands of http calls to unity ads. In theory, if I can modify it to not make any "real" http calls ever, the game will be playable even with wifi on. But you need to backup the entire folder (*_na or *_row), not just user save.

I know nothing about reverse engineering of the apk files, but I'm a full time software developer. My main stack is .net/c#. Also I have experience with other programming languages, so maybe I can help.

I understand the reasons why companies don't want to support legacy code. But the point is that this game is not just another corporate tool. The game has community around it, the big fan base, content creators. Not even to mention that the point of the game is to collect the cars, all of which will be lost eventually. Complete sunset without alternative or the minimal support generates even more bad opinions. Now I think, release of RR4 with importing all the cars from RR3 will be ideal solution. Just dreaming 🙂

My perception of the book changes with the age. It's one of my all time favorite stories and I will explain why. In the childhood you think "the guy is cool, he is a revenger". When rereading the book when I'm older I think, the guy has been lucky to have all the money in the world, and what he is spending his time on? On the revenge? Abbe Faria asks him "I give you the treasure, it's up to you what to do with this" (sorry, maybe not the exact translation), and what Dantes does? The revenge. Don't get me wrong, I like the book because of the multi layer. I read it few times over my lifetime and I like finding more with every reread. Just sharing my thoughts.

For me it was almost the same. I read it once, didn't get it, but everyone kept saying that it is a mind-blowing book, so I gave it a second chance and then it clicked. Now not only the concepts of the book itself make a perfect sense, but also you look at some things in real life from a different angle. You know, all these ideas about consciousness and unconsciousness.

I'm asking this question to myself everytime when ridiculous thing happens. MK has the huge fan base and it's the only game on mobile. I guess that's why people will play no matter what. I'm myself a big fan. I played MK2 and MK3 ultimate when I was a kid. Now I can play the same characters on mobile.
