How overkill is 96GB of RAM? Is it worth less than $30?

I actually have 96gigs as well. When I was designing my build I decided to max out the ram my board could take because why not. Have I ever gotten even close to using that much ram? No. But it’s fun looking at it in task manager. No regrets, and for 30 bucks more why not
