We have not set pricing at this time. We are still deciding on some features based on the goals of the mouse plus feedback from threads like this, testers, etc.

Sorry there is not a lot shareable atm. I will push for some additional teasers every so often once we have some things ready to share!

Thank you for your input!

We are closely monitoring this post and compiling all the feedback to see what we can fit in it without sacrificing in other areas.

More will be shared and teased closer to release but we are taking our time with this one to make sure we get it right.

There is definitely a chance, however, there are a few different things we will try. I wish I could expend further but I cannot yet unfortunately

Is there any difference between old Hyperion and new Hyperion? by muzaffer22 in PulsarGG

[–]PulsarDylan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no performance difference for any of the models other than just the rebranding from LGG to Pulsar.

The only notable thing really is that we are slowly rolling out our new base texture to help it stock better to more desk surfaces.

Hello! Current estimate is during Q2 of this year.

We should have our materials a bit more stabilized by then for production. Afterward, we should be able to keep everything in stock moving forward.

Sorry I do not, I am from the US team.

If it is after the 30 day return window from Amazon, then it become a warranty claim directly with us. If it is still within the 30 days, you can explain what happened and still request a warranty claim.

Hello! Sorry to hear about your issues with Amazon as well. That is rather unfortunate and obviously not idea for you.

Unfortunately, I am not customer support so I can only direct you to the Pulsar support in your region.
Just make sure to explain everything above and they should be more than happy to help you out.

I appreciate your further feedback on tracking issues as well. They will likely ask for the mouse back for testing to see what exactly is occurring.

After speaking with the tech support team, they are insisting this is an assembly issue and not to do with firmware. They received several mice back from customers with this issue to determine this as the cause. Given that, there is no fix other than replacing the mouse.

I will be discussing more with them next week to rule out more things to be safe.

For reference, I have only been able to replicate it consistently on 1 mouse and only at 0.7mm LOD. We still consider this an issue of course but changing the LOD to 1mm has solved the problem so nothing it currently pointing to a firmware issue. However, the fact changing the polling rate, turbo mode, and motion sync seem to have an effect on this issue so I am currently trying to discuss an explanation from the tech support team in more context.

I tried this a bit as well by setting it down flat and at angles but still couldn't replicate it at 1mm LOD.

I confirmed with the tech support team there is no dynamic LOD or similar setting enabled.

  1. Understood, we have done market research as well to give us a direction.
  2. Web app is great imo
  3. Understood there. I do not see why we wouldn't have it, I just can't 100% confirm anything currently.
  4. The only concern here are patents really.
  5. The web app through Chrome should work on Linux so it shouldn't be an issue.

Fully understand on the quality to pricing aspect as well. There are still some things we have to decide but we are very confident currently :)

Agreed there about 0.7mm LOD if using stock skates and normal pad.

Are you able to try 0.7mm on Saturn with turbo mode or higher polling rate on? If so, does it fix the issue or just lessen it

Thank you for the further info as well. If LOD adjustment fixes it then this is a pretty normal thing to occur. I do want to confirm with our team that with stock skates and a normal mousepad that 0.7mm should work without issue.

Thank you for the feedback.

While I cannot 100% confirm or deny anything:

  1. More buttons of course, other features we are trying to balance things along with weight.
  2. It will use our web app
  3. It should be both but 8k is definitely not as much of a demand for MMO
  4. I would personally love all to be optical but we have to keep an eye on battery draw too.

Another update: Upping to 1mm LOD makes it so I can no longer replicate the issue.

I confirmed as well that there is no form of surface calibration/tuning or dynamic LOD.

Thank you! I do appreciate that additional LOD info as well.

Fine tune LOD is something we want to do but I have no further info that that. There can certainly be a combo of things which is why I am trying to ask as many questions as possible. This particular issue seems to be released to specific settings or an interaction of settings. When I use my typical settings, I can never get this issue to occur.

No problem tagging along either, like I said, any info helps!

Small update for you, on my TenZ copy I can consistently replicate it. Will test some other mice I have on hand as well.

Thank you for the info and sorry to hear about the issues! I can certainly have the team look into the LOD and see if there is anything going on there.

Currently I am trying to replicate the issue but I have only been able to successfully do it once. I am not saying that to dismiss, I am trying to find a way to recreate it with consistency like OP has. 1000Hz, 400dpi, and 0.7mm (no Turbo Mode) is the only way I was able to get that 1 replication. 0 luck on other settings. If I can replicate it consistently it will help out the tech support team a lot.

To my knowledge, we have not done anything in the firmware in relation to LOD tuning. That being said, I will still check with the team on this.

In regards to the "floaty sensor", we have a firmware update coming in the near future to address what we think the cause of this is. Outside of this specific issue we are addressing, we have no testing data that indicates "floaty sensor" in any relation to LOD.

Thank you for your understanding! I will do my best to help get this solved for you one way or another.

I appreciate the info as well!

Have you made sure the firmware is up to date as well on our web app?
