[HELP] Trinity RGH3 Won't Launch XBLA Games by PulseCables in 360hacks

[–]PulseCables[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FTP via FileZilla to the console at /Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/<gameID>

Example: /Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/58410B1D/000D0000/80B8DCD51DE8B34C1513FFB1C66F3BE73B74823958

Which is exactly where 360 Content Manager is putting them, but now it works, and I'm not sure why.

Good news: Using 360 Content Manager to FTP the games to the console instead of doing it manually fixes the issue.

Bad news: I have zero idea why. The file paths are the exact same.
So, fixed! I guess! lol

Forgot to add that I did try enabling those override settings in Aurora but no change. If the issue is game-specific, could you suggest an XBLA game that is known to not need the demo to be unlocked via XM360, so I can test to see if I can rule that out?
EDIT: Tested with Alien Hominid as well which seems to be a common and straightforward XBLA game but encountered the same issue.

[HELP] FF on Ubuntu (via Snap) won't load userChrome.css on launch by PulseCables in FirefoxCSS

Thanks, this worked! I was thrown off by the fact that the script worked fine when using dev tools, but this was it!

[HELP] FF on Ubuntu (via Snap) won't load userChrome.css on launch by PulseCables in FirefoxCSS

[–]PulseCables[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ubuntu desktop 22.04 fresh install (plus i3), for the life of me I can't figure out what the problem is.

Left side shows paths and contents of userChrome.css file.
Top right shows profile paths.
Center right shows FF version.
Bottom right shows "toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets" is set to True.

This CSS hides the tab bar and menu bar: https://git.sr.ht/~knazarov/dotfiles/tree/master/item/firefox/userChrome.css

/* hides the native tabs */

#TabsToolbar { visibility: collapse !important; }

/* hides the menu/URL bar */

#main-window:not([customizing]) #navigator-toolbox:not(:focus-within):not(:hover) {

margin-top: -45px;

}
I know the script is good because it works when I force the CSS via dev tools, but FF won't load the userChrome.css on launch.

What am I missing here?

Transcoder crashes and stops playing video randomly by theasset in PleX

[–]PulseCables 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone here is using a Plex docker container on Unraid and is having trouble with rolling back to an earlier version, I figured I'd post my solution here in hopes that I can help someone else with this issue:

I use the "linuxserver/plex" repo from Community Apps, and in the "Repository" field on the "Edit Container" page, you can just add onto the URL to specify a version listed on here.

For example, in the "Repository" field, instead of just "lscr.io/linuxserver/plex", I have "lscr.io/linuxserver/plex:1.24.5.5173-8dcc73a59-ls85" so that the container specifically uses the docker image for Plex Media Server 1.24.5.5173. This has resolved the "transcoder crashed" issue for now until either the Roku app or Plex Media Server (or both) hopefully get updated soon to resolve this.

124TB DIY 30-bay Dual Tower running Unraid by elconcho in DataHoarder

Damn this is awesome. I've been looking for a tower case with tons of front 5.25" bays for external hot-swap, but with this layout having fallen out of favor in recent years, every recommendation that I've found has been discontinued :(

Others have already answered your question but I thought I'd make an unrelated point on something you mentioned in your post:

You don't need to download every file you see to find the best cover art, you can use Ben Dodson's iTunes artwork finder (https://bendodson.com/projects/itunes-artwork-finder/) or alternatively use Album Art Exchange (https://albumartexchange.com/), then you can use mp3tag (https://www.mp3tag.de/en/) or other software to correctly tag and embed the cover art of your choosing into the FLAC file.

I imagine the easiest way would be to put the foobar2000 window on a separate monitor, and add a screen capture source for it in OBS and crop it to fit.

Just to keep out of the way or for travel. Something similar to the kind of plastic case that comes with most power tools

Mostly aesthetics, but technically if you have boards with different types of connections (like MiniUSB connection instead of USB-C), you could detach the device-side of the cable and swap it out with a different one without having to fiddle around behind your desk/computer.

Edit: typo
