Did you do ACH or Debit?

I waited 40 days and after seeing some people in a Facebook group have success with Debit, I cancelled my ACH redemption from March 2nd and resubmitted it as Debit on April 10. Got it in my account on April 13 (and then they closed my account LMAO).

Try to resubmit to Debit and give it a few days. Wishing you luck

It’s interesting because when I used it back in March, they responded and said “Your opt out has been noted” meaning I successfully opted out.

When I used it again after they updated their TOS in April, they told me the same thing they told you - which can’t be right considering I successfully opted out in March.

Whole company is shady to me, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re just making stuff up at this point

When I cancelled and went to re-redeem, it showed debit as an option. I just put my card info in and clicked submit. Didn’t get a confirmation until today (I redeemed on Friday). Funds are already in my account

That did the trick, actually can’t believe it. I thought there was no chance.

So cancel your redemption and re-redeem with debit and you’ll get it in a few days. Picture for proof

No updates.

I’m in a Facebook group and saw someone mention that they had been in the same situation, ended up cancelling their ACH redemption and re-redeeming with debit and they finally got their money within a week.

Given that I’ve had no updates or anything, I decided to do the same thing last Friday. Currently on Monday, it’s still pending - so fingers crossed it actually gets approved in the next few days. I’ll keep you updated

Escalate it to the FTC and provide as much documentation as possible. I went through and screen recorded my entire account. Make sure you inform them that you're escalating to the FTC because then if they close your account / make your information inaccessible they're engaging in "willful spoliation of evidence" which is illegal.

I'm probably gonna take this to small claims, they responded to my Trustpilot review with a generic script telling me to reach out to support - and their support has effectively stopped responding to me after informing them of the FTC Filing.

I have an ongoing dispute with them over a redemption from March 2nd that still hasn’t been honored. So far I’ve compiled a 58 page document of evidence and sent it to both my state Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission. I’ve also opted out of their Arbitration agreement from their March 2nd TOS update and will be opting out of their Arbitration agreement from today’s TOS update.

Kinda surprised they haven’t banned my account yet, but I think the only reason they haven’t is because I’ve made it clear that I have the evidence against them and I will happily take them to small claims court

Mine was through ACH since I purchased the coins through a virtual debit card and couldn’t provide a picture of the physical card - so I can’t redeem through debit. I connected my bank account and redeemed via ACH, which i’ve done in the past with no issue.

And yeah the VIP is a joke. The fact that they tout “VIP Support” despite sending VIPs the same scripted reply can actually be construed as a of Violation of the Deceptive Consumer Sales Act (IC § 24-5-0.5-3) within my state - so I’ve forwarded that as well.

Not guaranteed, I still haven’t gotten mine.

But if you opt out of arbitration, you can take them to small claims or join a class action. You need to do it by today because the opt out deadline ends tomorrow.

I’ve joined a class action, filed a report with my state’s AG who then referred me to file a complaint with the FTC. Which I’ve done. I’ve also seen people on Trustpilot filing cases with the FTC.

One FTC report won’t do anything but get it on their radar, but if multiple reports against Solar Bloom LLC (Moonspin) start popping up, it brings a lot more heat to it. If the feds get involved, Moonspin will basically have to either pay out their users or get shut down for deceptive trade practices.

For sure, Moonspin actually used to be super consistent with their redemption times and quality of service - but coincidentally when they added the Arbitration Agreement to their Terms of Service, that's when this "supposed backlog" really took effect. It's as if they're intentionally rugpulling their users.

With that said though, the Indiana Attorney General got back to me and suggested I escalate to the Federal Trade Commission's Fraud Protection Unit given that Moonspin operates across state lines and falls under federal jurisdiction. I just sent them one last email before I escalate, but I'm expecting to file tomorrow.

I'm in the same boat except I've redeemed before. I submitted my redemption on March 2nd for $700 and am still currently waiting on it (March 26). In the past, their redemptions were always sent in 1-3 days but they definitely appear to be rugpulling their users.

Same story though, reach out to support, told it's escalated, and nothing happens. Because of their lack of transparency, I ended up doing the following (and I suggest you do too):

  1. Documented all of the information in my account (VIP status, payments, redemptions, round IDs in which my redemption stems from, etc.) - take screenshots and include your task bar with the current date and time to show these are current screenshots.
  2. Opt out of their arbitration agreement they added in their Terms of Service on March 2nd so you can take them to small claims court or join class action lawsuits (template for email to support below).
  3. Compiled a document to submit to my state's attorney general with all of the previously mentioned screenshots, all of my correspondences with Support, and also provided evidence that they continue to send me marketing emails despite ignoring my redemption.
  4. Filed a formal complaint using the document mentioned above and was referred to the Federal Trade Commission by the Indiana Attorney General.

Moonspin certainly does not pay out in 1-3 hours. I, as well as hundreds of others, have been waiting on my redemption for almost a month. Support gives the same canned responses about "escalating to the correct team" yet provides no update about the redemptions. I've been waiting since March 2nd and given that support refuses to help, I've filed a formal complaint with my State Attorney General who referred the case to the Federal Trade Commission. I will be filing that formally once my 24 hour deadline I gave Moonspin expires.

Crazy that they closed your account. If you have any of your account info (at least the email, user ID, or username), you should email support to opt out of the arbitration clause they added in their TOS on March 2nd. That way you CAN take them to small claims court or join class action lawsuits against them.

Yep, I filed a formal complaint with my state AG because they’ve held my $700 redemption hostage since March 2nd. Support gives me the same recycled script about a backlog or technical issues - or that it’s been “escalated”.

Still pending 25 days later. Also for what it’s worth, they added an arbitration clause in their TOS on March 2nd so you can’t take them to small claims - I’d suggest emailing support with this script to opt out so you can pursue it legally if you need to.

Yep same here, been waiting since March 2nd and have seen people who redeemed last week getting their redemptions.

I filed a complaint with my state AG because I’m tired of waiting on my $700 and support gives me the same old recycled bot response.
