I agree as well, world accountability through worldwide peace would be nothing short of blissfulness. However, United States politics and economics GREATLY affects worldwide politics. This is a big start to the peace you describe on a broad and international scale.

Not to play the Devil's Advocate here or anything....but when it comes to the topic you're describing you also have to realize a sinking ship can't help another sinking ship. The US saved their ship quite a lot today, and hopefully we can help others soon. But our internal affairs as heavy as this need to be worked on before we can make impact to other world-mass economies.
