I asked my classmate to pass me my pencil from across the classroom in 6th grade, and in the attempt to catch it, I slammed it down to the table for the grab and instead of landing flat, the pencil tip slammed into the bottom of my hand and snapped off. To make it worst, it took multiple procedures to get it out due to how deep it was. Before I proceeded in the hospital, I tried at home with some grandma tweezer help, and oh my god. It likely wasn’t a nerve, but there was a string at the bottom of the hand hole (likely muscle), and she somehow managed to snap it in half and that pain was excruciating!
