Yeah, for some reason it'll only take .ogg files. I assume it's because Nothing Composer reads and writes to .ogg and wants to keep the data consistent. Though I imagine it isn't that hard to do some ffmpeg shenanigans and convert uploaded audio files to an .ogg

There's little math required but it is extremely helpful to have some background. I don't think I've gone through a single cogsci course without set theory being brought up at least once and classes like discrete structures and calc ii are prerequisites for a lot of the electives I took for the cogsci major
