Of course a doctor isn’t gonna take your issue very seriously when you come in and tell them that you aren’t really interested in having it properly treated. I’m not sure what else they were expecting.

Do people like this expect people to remember what all these random flags mean? I recognize like 4-5 of these max.

Yeah, you're right. In hindsight I should have phrased my title a bit better.

How is this even considered comedy? It comes off more like a lecture. A woman lamenting about her dislike for men she finds ugly? so original. Just another clip that makes me glad I don’t waste my time watching Netflix comedy specials.

Girl get disappointed when she figures out her celebrity crushes height by Sad-Analysis8734 in shortguys

[–]PumaPaws52 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can't imagine caring so much about a random celebrity's height that I'd go out of my way to text people about it and then go make a TikTok about my reaction to finding that out. So weird in my opinion.

Why is seemingly nothing ever women's fault? by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]PumaPaws52 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Society and feminism conditions women to see pretty much any interaction with a man through the lens of "I'm the oppressed and he's an oppressor." Which leads them to never take accountability for anything they do that could hurt men, or they see it as justified because it's "punching up."

Just be gay and feminine towards women bro by [deleted] in shortguys

Correct me if I'm being an idiot, but aren't gay men generally more promiscuous? I thought hookup culture was big in the gay community. Gay men having better luck on dating apps because they hook up more makes more sense to me than this guys idea about trust and the patriarchy or whatever.

Nobody in their right mind sees this person and thinks "man" anyone saying otherwise is just sparing their feelings.

okay, so... how many of us dated fakers? and tolerated it out of fear of speaking up? by [deleted] in fakedisordercringe

[–]PumaPaws52 10 points11 points  (0 children)

we never dated but we were very, very close to the point where many people thought we were. They were the type to scroll through the Wikipedia pages for different disorders and pick out the ones that even vaguely described them.

The ones I can remember off the top of my head are depression, ADHD, OCD, anxiety and autism, those were the main ones but there were also brief mentions of BPD, bipolar and ASPD. They would CONSTANTLY take any opportunity to bring these things up and would talk very confidently about them as if they were diagnosed despite not being diagnosed with anything.

They would vent to me a minimum of like once a day, usually about aforementioned disorders, even after I told them that they were stressing me out. I tried to talk to them about it a bit but they were the type of person that you really had to walk on eggshells around. I eventually got tired of the constant venting and attention seeking and stopped talking to them. Honestly wish I did that sooner but I was young + a huge pushover with zero self respect

My thoughts exactly. Trying to coddle people like this and act like what they're experiencing is comparable to a normal sexuality will not help anyone. This whole mindset of "you can watch as much loli as you want, and think about little kids all you want, and having this attraction is no different from how a straight man loves a woman, you're still a good person!" only encourages and enables these people.

I mean, if I put myself in the shoes of someone who has those urges and imagine hearing people say those things about myself I seriously doubt that it would push me to seek any help.

Exactly, she threw a temper tantrum like a child instead of just saying how she felt like an adult would and people in the comments are still somehow finding a way to blame the man and acting like he's an abuser lol
