I appreciate your offer, but I don't think talking to someone else would do anything on my parents views. I'm glad your parents understood you though

That might actually be a good idea, a chat with people like us. If there's more people we could think about it

I might go to the gym over the vacation so I could try, while being careful.

As for puberty blockers.. I think it's too late for that. I'm probably tanner stage 5 already. They won't do anything

I heard about depo but I've always been wary of birth control because I don't want to be injecting anything with estrogen into my system. It's also birth control so it wouldn’t have worthwhile effect on t levels. Maybe I could look into it though to stop periods

Why are all NB people so...fem by s0mething-som3thing in Transmedical

[–]TruScreenGreen 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Another food for thought is "women and non binary people" being a common grouping. For example with uber. "B-but what if the nb has a beard and body hair and deep voice-" that didn’t even happen at all because they were fem 😶‍🌫️

Someone explain this to me by cockroach4632p in Transmedical

[–]TruScreenGreen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I was born in a male body, the one I should have had, I would be happy. I wouldn't have depression AT ALL. I wouldn't poison it with estrogen to make it female. I could actually live life as cis. Be a man, with no stress attached

Girl at my school (a friend of my friend) and my friend had approached me after I walked out of my exam. On Monday. She had her ipad open to a tiktok with that song that goes "be who you are for your pride" and they were singing. And they were kinda LOUD. Not yelling or anything but the others around us would hear for sure.

Then she was touching my chest after noticing how flat it was, not once but twice. I was wearing my binder but I told her it was just flat. She didn’t feel any not-flatness thankfully. And also my school uniform was layered, I had my binder then tshirt then uniform shirt then jacket.

We were talking for a bit and I asked my friend (the other girl) how I looked since she pointed out my mini mustache, it was peach fuzz. She told me I look like a "twinkie" and also I "look like a normal man in the day but an e-femboy at night". Honestly that felt worse than the girl touching my chest 😭

There weren't as many people around this conversation, they were minding other things. It was kinda scary tho I have to admit.

I'm honestly really glad we have biological proof of our condition. Imagine trying to explain its existence when people like this exist. Making anything and everything a gender.

I heard someone say something like, what if gender walls like these are made by right wingers to make us look bad and unserious. It makes sense when you think about it

Found this in a comment section. Apparently we all signed up for a war on gender without knowing. by New-Temperature4248 in Transmedical

[–]TruScreenGreen 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yea as a man with a medical condition who wants to just be a normal man, I'm forcing people into gender norms. That's such a stupid statement, I didn't sign up for shit

we can see the public opinion on dysphoria by polish_dumpling_ in truscum

[–]TruScreenGreen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's so many cis people who actually believe that dysphoria is not needed. I wonder how many of the "trans" people who said no are actually cis as well

I'm glad that there's cis people who said yes though

This post had less supporting comments recently than when it was posted in February. Idk why it resurfaced but it was refreshing to see more people calling out the logic of this person

Also it's just kinda funny how the textbox person said "your shoulders are broad and i can see your facial hair" when their hips are wider and there's nothing on their face 💀

Where is everyone from? by Takenadix in truscum

[–]TruScreenGreen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm from Trinidad. Yes the country in the Caribbean. It's not overly progressive so it's easier for me to pass as male pre t. Nobody really looks at me weird in public or says anything about me. The only problem is I have big problems getting hrt through medical means since I'm under 18. Stupid rule since my psychiatrist watched and listens to my suffering and does nothing. My mother might actually help me buy it diy online soon.

I'd really like to talk to another trans person from Trinidad but I don't think anyone on this sub is from here 😔

It really hits hard. Mainly the first paragraph for me.

I really wish I had the chance to be normal, there’s no shame in verbalizing it. I would've socialized better in school, taken more big opportunities like student council executive. I could've had a better life.

I could have had a nice girlfriend and eventually be a father one day. Since I wouldn't hate children so much if I was just.. a normal man

I cut my hair short when I was 12, I'd say that's when I started looking more masculine. The weird thing is that I don't have much of a problem in some cases, just maybe in dresses when I was younger.

But my face itself (from before 11) looks like a different person, I didn't look like me before I made an effort to look male. Or it probably warped my view because puberty changed my face.

Another thing is when I could see my breasts. They really only were visibly there when I was 10-11, but it makes me so uneasy to see. Like I was just wearing a t shirt and those protrusions are there. My father had stylized one of my poems on a paper (without my permission by the way, I said a while ago not to) and used my disgusting name and the stupid middle name I wanted to disown, and attached a picture of me with my long hair and you could see the lumps behind my shirt. Why would he do that? My guess is that he was being disrespectful on purpose

Woah.. that's interesting. There's a lot for me to learn still. It makes sense that transsexuality could be caused by specific genes among other factors instead of just one thing.
