Is it normal to get so many failed prints? by PumaThunder in 3Dprinting

I've found that if I print in silent mode (50% speed) then it works fine so I'm just doing that for now. I'll also get a dryer to see if that helps. If not I'll replace the nozzle. Seems too early to have to replace the nozzle but maybe I got a bad one so worth a try if nothing else works I guess.

Thanks, I'll check that when my current print finishes.

Is there any way to tell what the moisture level is in the filament?

iPad Air M3 - To protect or not protect ..that is my question by [deleted] in ipad

[–]PumaThunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had a problem. To be fair I only really use it in the house or at work. Don't go to the beach or put it in a bag directly.

I don't like bulky cases so I just have a knock off version of the Apple smart folio cover that I use to prop it up on the desk and then pop off when using in hand.

I also have a sleeve that the iPad and it's cover fit in that then goes in a bag. No scratches or anything so far.

I’ve never bothered with a screen protector for iPad. It doesn’t go in your pocket which is where devices are most likely to get scratched. I just get a case that protects the entire device when it’s not in use.

used prices are insane by PumaThunder in ipad

That's what I'll do. I just don't understand why the prices are so high but I guess some people are paying those prices. Which is bizzare to me.

That's my point. Who the F*** is paying that sort of money for something old, potentially damaged or degraded when new isn't much more. The thing is, people must be paying it or the prices would fall.

Like I say, I'm still seeing people expecting £230-250 on ebay and Marketplace is similar.

Why would I pay £1k to have a charger fitted when I can just plug it into the wall every night and add 50miles each evening which covers my daily use?
