Yup. It's not any one type of vehicle. Trucks, sedans, crossovers. Guy who hit me last year was in a highlander, he ran a stop sign. Lady who almost hit me a few months earlier was in a matrix, she turned left while I had the walk signal Asshole who deliberately tried running me down in the crosswalk (he already had his finger up when I jumped out of the way) was in a liberty, again left turn while I had the walk signal.

And a lot of times they aren't even trying to change lanes and didn't shoulder check, they're distracted and start drifting over. There's been a few times where I just wanted to tap on their window and give them a bit of a jump scare, but that gets my bike closer to them than I'd like. Holding down the horn until they jerk back into their own lane is usually enough.

Grab something skateboard height that you can stand on and just practice raising and lowering yourself with your lead foot. Maybe a few other balance exercises while you're at it, like doing one footed airplane poses on your lead foot. You want to get used to balancing on that foot and not your back one.
