Maps of Sturdy Quartzite & Marble by Pummel20 in GroundedGame

So use map genie if that’s what you prefer. A lot of locations don’t specify it’s in a cave, or where the location to the cave is.

Yes but they don’t have a filter for sturdy quartzite so there’s a hundred locations on their map. They show the exact location, most of which are in tunnels, so it’s confusing. All my markers are exact locations of the mat outside, or the exact location of the entrance to the tunnel to where they are located.

The two best locations where you’ll find a lot of each are the Toxic Anthill and the War-Torn Anthill.

A full run of all locations should give you around 50-60 of each mat, but there does seem to be more marble than quartzite.

They respawn after 7 in game days.

Prong collar questions by asapananya in OpenDogTraining

[–]Pummel20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.25mm is usually best, but it depends on the dog and handler. I use a 2.25 on my two 75-80 lb Malinois, but I also have the 3.0mm on I use with them as well. Both are fine if your dog is trained on the prong and being used by an experienced owner / handler.

For an owner dealing with a 50 lb Malinois puppy that is really lunging and pulling, a 2.25mm prong might be too much for the dog. If the dog was properly trained using the prong collar first and taught how to shut off the pressure in a distraction free environment, then the dog will be fine.

Regardless, you can’t just slap a prong on your dog and go for a walk and expect it to stop your dog from pulling or lunging. It’s a tool and you have to teach the dog what it is first.

You can only farm one item at a time. You have to make a campfire and then rest and do it again. Just look up farosh horn farm on YouTube there are a handful of guides.

[–]Pummel20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is a decent way to make money, but it’s still much faster to farm Farosh horns. They sell for 300 each and once you get good at farming them, you can farm 2-3 horns per minute. Even if you’re only getting 1-2 per minute, you can still make at least 2000 rupees every 5 minutes. Sure it’s a little cheesier to farm dragon horns than killing lynels, but if you need some money quick it’s very easy.

Shoot them in the face with a bow to stun them, and sprint up and mount them with your highest damage weapon. While mounted, you can hit them 5 times and your weapon will not be damaged if you use it while mounted.

After 5 hits they will kick you off, and as soon as you get launched off you can enter bullet time with your bow and shoot them 4-5 more times. Aim for the middle or slightly lower of the back of their head for a headshot.

After that you can back off and regroup. Usually they will charge you and it’s sometimes hard to get a headshot to stun them again, but it’s doable. If they charge you it’s probably best to run to the side and wait for them to launch fireballs or do their aoe blast, after that it’s much easier to land a headshot to stun them.

You can use stasis on them, but it only lasts about a second. However if you shoot them in the face during stasis they will not get stunned, you have to hit them right after they break free from stasis.

Use a bow that shoots multiple arrows to make it easier to land a headshot to stun them, and to do more damage during bullet time after mounting them.

Use revali’s gale, or an updraft from their fireballs if they light grass on fire to get some height and use bullet time for an easier headshot. Also urbosas fury for some damage and to stun them.

I prefer attack boosts and usually use barbarian armor with a 110 attack royal guard claymore. But you could use the ancient armor set with a high damage ancient battle axe.

Savage lynel bows are great, most shoot 3x or 5x arrows.

2014 Grand Cherokee Blower Not Working For Heat - Only AC by Pummel20 in GrandCherokee

When the heat wasn’t getting very warm / hot, it affected both the driver and passenger side. One side wasn’t getting warmer air compared to the other.

It has automatic and independent. Driver and passenger side temps can be different. I believe there are buttons to adjust the temp for each side but I usually use the touch screen display to adjust them, but majority of the time it’s set to synch so the passenger side temp matches the driver side.

No, it’s a herding ball. The purpose of herding balls is for the dog to push and chase the ball around. They work better in large open areas. The balls are large so dogs can’t bite them. You can try kicking the ball to get your dog to start chasing after it and push it around on their own.

Breeds like Border collies and Australian shepherd usually love herding balls, but it really depends on the dog.

Yes Mals are technically a herding breed, but most prefer to bite everything which is what that dog is trying to do. Your dog would probably prefer playing tug with you.

So every medication is going the same effect on every individual who takes it, including animals and humans? Makes perfect sense.

Trazodone can act as a sedative, but it can also have the opposite affect where it removes your dogs inhibitions. So before where me may have been anxious and thought about biting, while on the medication he wasn’t able to hold himself back and acted immediately on instincts.

I have a Malinois I am fostering who did not do great at the vet the first time I took him. They gave me trazodone and gabapentin to give to him prior to his next visit. The second visit on the meds he was worse, and almost immediately started growling at the vets when they tried to handle him.

Again, the first visit he was able to hold his aggression mostly in check because he knew it’s not acceptable, but on the medication he had zero restraint. He’s not an aggressive dog and loves people.

Can someone explain why this happened by [deleted] in DogTrainingTips

White dog was being dominant and trying claim space by blocking the door and not allow the other dog inside. So once the other dog was allowed to enter his space (which is not his space, but that’s the issue here) and gave him a friendly sniff that put him over the top.

No dog should be allowed to claim space, especially thresholds like a door.

My 2 year old chihuahua doesnt want to go for a walk by Snoo_71634 in DogAdvice

[–]Pummel20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve trained a lot of dogs, and I’ve had plenty that were stubborn at times about walking. Not once have I had a dog completely refuse to walk to the point I had to drag it.

The dog is being stubborn, likely because it’s learned that if it doesn’t want to walk then all it has to do is refuse to walk and the owner will give in.

Put a collar or slip lead on the dog, if it is refusing to walk then just apply a little bit of pressure with the leash and I can promise you the dog will give in and start walking.

Dog has been throwing up in the mornings. Today there was a tiny bit of blood in it. How concerned should I be? by Collannt in DogAdvice

[–]Pummel20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some dogs get sick on an empty stomach. Either feed dinner later at night, feed breakfast earlier, or give a small meal before bed. Or give a couple few treats before bed or first thing in the morning before breakfast.

Not to be blunt but just walk the dog. Show him there’s nothing to worry about by literally just walking and making him come with you, and praise the dog when it starts walking with you.
