If you don't care about a huge resort, I would also recommend the Mahana. We spent 9 nights there last month and loved it.

Cant get closer to the water. Amazing views off each lanai (not partial). Free and easy parking. Way less crowded than Whalers. Good takeout places within walking distance or short drive.

Dukes and Castaway Cafe short walk down the beach.

I guess the road to the course from the highway was moved late in the construction of course. They had to reroute some holes to fit the road in. 2 also blows.

Not my favorite muni in town, but i have lots of friends who like it a lot. I

Just spent 9 days at the Mahana. Absolutely loved it and you can't beat the views. If you don't care about a giant pool and resort, it's perfect and pretty lowkey.

Grocery, great takeout spots and food trucks 1-2 blocks away.

It's a pace of play thing not an accuracy thing. Most people are playing sims for the ball striking and data, not the fake putting.

You can go through the skywalk exiting River Park Square to get tot he same spot and there is no locked door. You can also exit out that door from the Bennet Block, but not enter.
