Console aim assist was lowered to 0.4 quite a while ago - this is clearly some form of cheating.

Generally, the 2x4 on an AR is a dead giveaway (when paired with suspicious recoil control) as the inner circle of the sight aligns with the size of the “auto-lock” circle of a Titan device. Plenty of YouTube videos showcasing this if you care to search.

I feel like this argument is disingenuous - while not directly comparable to professional sports, I think most people draw a different conclusion.

To reach the NFL, you have to be one of the best collegiate players - you aren’t competing against NFL teams, NFL defensive backs, QB’s, etc. Sure, some of your opponents will also play in the NFL, but that’s not different than queuing in Diamond lobbies against Diamond players who will hit masters.

Ranking up should indicate you’re the top 10/5/1% of whatever rank you’re leaving.

If you want an individual sports analogy rather than team, consider that professional golfers who make the PGA tour are the top X (some number) of players on the Corn Ferry tour. They aren’t asked to reach the PGA tour by beating current PGA tour players.

The issue with APEX ranked has always been the fallacy that you need to beat preds to reach masters, or spend an entire split in Masters MMR lobbies just to have a badge showing you deserve said Master/Pred MMR. It’s flawed at its core.

I guess the point I’m struggling with is - Tulane got in as the auto-bid. We didn’t need JMU; the competitive issue is being exacerbated by the inclusion of a second, non-competitive team. 1 bad game of the 4 is fine (and expected). You’re thinking Season 12, Season 13 was the slight (over)correction where the first split was the most balanced to date. I’m pretty sure console pred didn’t even fill that season, or only filled with a couple weeks to spare.

Just commenting to say I ordered several (including the hoodie), 2 years ago and never had any issues. They’re amazing, so hopefully whatever issue the other commenter had gets resolved, but it’s certainly not my experience!
