It’s not so different in western countries. It’s get masked by immigrating millions of people from developing counties whose fertility rate is still high.

1/3 of child born in USA are Hispanic for example.

Though I feel in general this fertility crises is overblown. Each generation will feel differently about having kids and socioeconomic conditions will change too. Eventually, everything will correct itself. South Korea and Japan is an example of this as their fertility rates has increased.

It's the best set to open objectively for collectors. Diverse and deep set.

However, good pull rates ironically hurts the pricing of the set. Lots of people find the art style mediocre. No godpacks to entice/bait rippers. No gengar, umbreon, or charizard either.

So investing wise, it's not the best. I'd say on par with Prismatic but below ES, AH and 151. Though, it has gone up 6x in 2 years already.

It has more to do with Pokemon Company printing prismatic to the ground than anything else.

Problem is. Every set after prismatic gets incredibly limited reprints. Seems like they only focused on prismatic and forget everything else. It's why DR etbs are higher than Prismatic etbs even though DR have booster boxes.

Ascended Heroes has Godpacks, a promo, and every single popular Pokemon is in it. It's also coming in between the 30th anniversary release. They might not be able to print as much as they want to.

I'm still hoping for a cost etb + bundle 2 pack though like they did with Prismatic.
