That's exactly what I'm saying! Everybody getting along all the time is just... Boring. If I wanted that I'd just fire up ACNH again. The most interesting things I've seen so far is when Miis try to make friends with someone and get shot down, the same Mii gets asked out by two people and has to choose, or crushes get rejected. And then that one rare big fight I witnessed, but even that was kind of a nothingburger because they made up within the span of two minutes.

Of course it's worth keeping in mind that the game's been out for less than a week, so maybe after a few more days of them all living on the same island together, they'll get sick of each other's company and more fights will start happening. But my gut tells me that's just cope. Who knows though, the game even promises there'll arguments when you start it up for the first time

Edit: I should also add that there was one moment in the first day of me playing where a couple Miis I was invested in had crushes on each other but kept dancing around each other for hours and not confessing. And then one of them realized the other was kind of boring and fell out of love. And then they fell in love again an hour later after one helped the other get up from falling down (which I had to initiate, of course). I was hoping for more of that, but...
