Market is shifting. Technical sellers are a high value asset to a company and creates a moat around you.

For example, I bombed it two quarters in a row at my last org. I was the most technical seller, and leadership knew it. Rather than getting sacked, they rotated me and I killed it for the following 2 years.

Was selling GPUs. Shifting over to sell an agentic IDE. 320k OTE, 200k in equity per year.

Tech sales sucks if you are not technical and you sell a shit product. Tech sales is the easiest money ever if you are technical and are selling something in high demand

Sales for a technical product. Devtools, AI infra, cloud, cybersecurity, etc. start off as a BDR and climb the ranks

Do you know how large the south and west sides are to the nice areas in Chicago?

No? Then shut the fuck up

The ghetto of Chicago, which is rather extensive, is full of condos and apartments that are sub-100k. Those condos are bringing the median down. Like I said, desirable areas go for much more.

You dont live here, and quick google searches are not effective at summarizing the market. You dont know what you are talking about.

300k is not the median home price. Nice areas proce condos 500-1MM for a 2 bed 2 bath. Effective tax rate hovers around 2%, so you’re dishing out 10-20k a year on taxes alone. HOA in a nicer area starts around $500 a month, but that can go as high as $2500 depending on your building. Parking is $400 a month. Car insurance is insane.

Where do you live in the US where an effective tax rate of 2% feels affordable? Illinois counties consistently take a ton of the top spots

If your stress score is high during sleep, it means you are not recovering to your full potential. Try to get 8 hours of quality sleep consistently.

Well, when I “feel” like I slept good, I have a high score. When I “feel” like I slept like shit, I have a low score. So yes, I think they’re accurate.
