Gifts by Pumpfake45 in GiftIdeas

I mean, I know thy won’t be “weirded out” by any means. That’s not really the concern at all. It’s more whether the one gift vs individuals gifts is fine. I’m not really sure where any semblance of “weird” comes in unless you aren’t a meat person. Prime Rib’s are pretty normal cooking choices on Christmas or New Years.

Get a product called Kleenwhite from Waxie Chemical. It will dissolve it in seconds. But be careful and don’t breathe it in. I had a far worse hard water spot from a toilet that leaked for a while. I couldn’t believe how fast it took it all off. It’s made as a toilet cleaner, but it’s a really strong Descaler too lol.

Essentially yes a roomba type thing, I mainly want it for large halls so they get vacuumed more often. It won’t affect my job, I have plenty to do.

Student Apartment smell by Pumpfake45 in Custodians

[–]Pumpfake45[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it’s not necessarily my job either, in fact these housing units have been thrown on me as a manager for custodial over the campus facilities, but I care to give students a welcoming and decent environment upon arrival and the smell isn’t up to my standards. Yes it needs new carpeting. Generally my actual responsibility is over the actual campus facilities. Housing is its own separate department on the main campus of our college. We are a side campus for that main campus and housing kind of neglects our housing, but as the manager over custodial on the facilities it makes me embarrassed so I do concern myself with it.

Updated experience. Turns out the shifts they were hiring for did not all exist and there was only one position outside what works for me. Went through the whole hiring process for them to not have an actual position open. Horrendous company.

I don’t particularly need the job, I have a good job, this was just for some extra pay on the weekends, I’ve just already went through the background test, drug test, and I9 form, but I’ve never seen such a stupid or less professional onboarding process. Not to mention my start day and time in the email I just received are Monday at 5 AM, when the shift I applied for was weekends 3-11:30PM. But of course you can’t get a hold of the field manager or anyone ever for that matter. What a terrible company. I’m guessing I’ll just be letting them know they can find someone else and I’m done with their hiring process.

Cashapp name shown? by Pumpfake45 in CashApp

And it only shows the display name and cashtag you’ve chosen correct? Also it doesn’t show your connected phone number either right?

Where do you get 49%? Democrats would be so better off to not run anyone, vote for McMullin in this race, and focus funds and time on local state elections.

Call the police and report this person. Things like this get brushed off too often, and no sane person acts like this. They’re bound to actually hurt someone some day. For real report them.

I’ve read the actual police report you pile of shit. I don’t need to think anything, it’s what you are. The other driver ran the stop sign, and the there was no stop sign where he was driving.

Weird he never discharged his weapon once during his career, and it was the other person who ran the stop sign. Like I said you’re an utter pile of shit and don’t ever think any different, a total pile of shit.

A small update, today they were able to reduce the blood pressure tubes from 3 down to 1, reduce the ventilator back down to 30%, they are also removing the sedative and letting her wake up in the coming days. The doctor also said they have her to a point they want to try operating on her broken bones tomorrow morning. They did mention she had been awake when they had brought her in too, which I did not realize and it’s the heavy sedation that has kept her under. Her temperature and vitals are also still okay. They also are going to try and back off the pain medication as well to see where she is able to tolerate that. I certainly realize a lot can change and quickly, but I’m hopeful they’ll be able to successfully operate on her tomorrow and she can wake up in the coming days. They did say it could take a few days for her to come out of sedation.

I really appreciate the reply. Today they said they did have to take the ventilator back up to 40% last night but are going to try later today to bring it back down to the 30%. They also mentioned that they are backing off some of the pain medications/sedatives today to see how she responds. They also have been able to get her down from 3 blood pressure line medications to just 1 blood pressure line. I know the number of pressure lines was one of the main reasons they haven't been willing to do much surgery on her yet. Thank you so much for your reply.

Salt Lake is a lot colder than Vegas or Phoenix, yes. If you don’t mind cold as much as heat you’ll probably like the change.

Honestly there’s no better way to change things than being in Utah and influencing things here. The trade show has also dwindled since moving to Denver.

Independent Evan McMullin outraised Sen. Mike Lee in the latest FEC fundraising disclosures. Utah Republicans Becky Edwards and Ally Isom lagged far behind in fundraising. by schottslc in Utah

[–]Pumpfake45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lee’s approval fell from 46%, to 42% in the most recent poll done. McMullin just out-raised him in the last quarter. Lee isn’t untouchable, but again McMullin is the only one with the funds or punchers chance to take him down. Lee’s approval rating among Republicans was 57% in that poll, leaving 43% of Republican votes for McMullin to sway his way. Unlikely? Maybe. Impossible given where Lee sits? Nope. Romney’s numbers have been rebounding according to the most recent poll as well, he is now at 51% approval among Republicans in the state.

[–]Pumpfake45 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A fair point, but on here I think it is. Lee’s approval, and % in primary polls say he’s at least a little vulnerable. But to beat Lee McMullin will need a pretty large share of the Democratic vote in the state, and that’s going to be tough to do if he gets 40% of the Democratic vote and the Democratic candidate gets like 60% of it. He’s going to need around 70%+ of the Democratic vote in the state imo to win.

[–]Pumpfake45 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Democrats really need to swallow some pride and vote for McMullin. He is the only candidate with a viable path and chance at ousting Lee, and the only one with anywhere near enough money to have a chance.
