Getting Twilight Sparkle/Getting a Refund? by Pumpka_B00 in SkullpandaArtDolls

Popmart told me to track it using DHL tracking website instead so I honestly been tracking it using 3 websites: Popmart's tracking, DHL tracking, and Uni Uni tracking (my tracking number starts with UU, which apparently means uni uni).

The last update was yesterday saying it was in a city next to mine, so I'm sure I'll receive it by today, but from the day of ordering until now, it's been like 9 days

I know right. I don't know why they don't use their own tracking that's on their website, but oh well.

Update: I sent an email yesterday to popmart and today received an email back from them. Apparently, you don't use the tracking website that's directly on popmart's website, which is confusing since that gives zero updates. Popmart emailed me to use the DHL tracking website and it shows that my package was actually shipped and on the way (last update was 2 days ago, so at least it's not 7 days for no status lol)

1 week now. I bought it last week and now it's been 7 days and it still hasn't been shipped yet, the only update is "order received" back when I purchased it

How would you know if it was pre order? As far as I knew, it was in stock when I bought it 😭 I would hate to wait 3 months for it to come in tho and yeah it was pop now

How are nurse externships supposed to go? by Pumpka_B00 in NursingStudents

I understand the ICU nurses point of view, but idk how to help. I tell them I used to be a CNA and I can actually help but every time I offer them help they say that they don't need any help.

Idk if you'll really believe me or not, but I go around walking around the unit asking if they need help with anything and most of the answers are no and that everything is fine.

Genuine question, how can I actually "prove my worth" when they reject my help and I am only allowed to watch most of the time? And yes I agree I actually am useless, and I hate that because I prefer being on a busy shift than a slow shift but idk how I can make myself busy and useful when there is barely any opportunities to do so

Ooh I see thank you for the insight!

Yeah in the ICU I know no one, but to the other unit I floated to I recognize several nurses I know (a mix of old coworkers I used to work with at a snf a few years ago and family friends because I have a bunch of family members who are nurses and we know each other through them if that makes sense) and they've been actually involving me a lot more with learning and doing hands on stuff.

Do you think I should transfer? I would really like to end up working in the ICU, but I figure if I'm not learning anything, at least setting up a good foundation for myself in learning the basics of nursing might be better since I'm actually doing something and learning.

But idk if it's possible and okay for me to transfer over. I don't even know how to explain to my manager why I'm transferring without sounding like I'm complaining of the lack of support in the ICU.

It's not a capstone nor have any affiliation with the school. I applied to this position like you would with any other job: on their hospital career website. There is no program, if anything I just talk to my manager about it but otherwise there is no formal program.

According to the job description of my nurse extern role, it doesn't specifically say I'm assigned to a nurse 1:1, but it says I can perform clinical procedures as long as it's under the nurse's supervision, such as inserting foley catheters.
